A meal enjoyed in a Private room while watching live cooking on the Teppan-yaki grill. We enjoyed thinly sliced rare roast beef and freshly grilled thick steak with different flavors like sauce, salt, and wasabi soy sauce powder. As for alcohol, they have not only wine but also a wide range of shochu (Japanese distilled spirit), so the level of Manzoku is high.

The service and food quality were well worth the price. The steak was great, of course, but the roast beef was so good that I ended up ordering more. The chef was also very hospitable and showed a lot of care for the children, so we had a very enjoyable time.

Every dish was delicious, and I felt that the extra care, such as aging, really brought out the ingredients' natural flavors. I thought the millimeter-by-millimeter tasting comparison of the prosciutto was something you would not find anywhere else. The main meat dish was incredibly tender, which was Surprising. The sauce served on the side was also delicious.

グルメハンター・酔いどれ天使

The main dish is Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) raised on Hidaka kombu kelp. They cook it slowly on the Teppan-yaki griddle, let it rest partway through, then finish it by searing the surface over charcoal. The cooking is excellent, giving it a soft, juicy, high quality finish. The finely textured lean meat has good marbling, and the fat never feels heavy.

The main Strip loin steak that followed was well seared on the outside, while the inside stayed moist and tender. The more you chew, the more the meat’s flavor spreads...... It was that kind of steak. It was a dish that showed not only the quality of the meat, but also a real love for it.

By the time the main came... with the Appetizers and everything else, we were already more than 80% full lol. For the main steak, my companion and I shared a Kuromatsunai-gyu (Kuromatsunai beef) Strip loin and some kind of Tenderloin. The Strip loin was juicy! The Tenderloin was light and tender, I guess? We enjoyed it in a stylish space.

You can tell before you even take a bite. Just from the look and the aroma, you know it’s going to be good. The steak goes without saying, and even the Hamburger Steak has that rich, meaty color that tells you it’s bound to be full of juices. And sure enough, the moment you cut into it with a fork, the juices come pouring out.

They use oysters shipped directly from the source, and there seem to be several ways to prepare them, including raw and grilled, with a clear focus on freshness. The meat also comes in steak style, such as being served on a Teppan-yaki grill with carefully selected cuts, so it feels hearty while still giving a sense of quality.

The salad came topped with fried vegetables, and the warm vegetables matched the salad perfectly. I chose the Strip loin, and it had a rich, meaty flavor with a strong lean character, yet it was amazingly tender❗I was surprised by how much more tender it was than I expected, and this is the kind of deliciousness you get from dairy cattle that really becomes addictive✨

To be honest, and no offense, the food is better than expected! And not just the main meat, but the potatoes and salad too. Even the sushi has the meat lightly seared with a burner for a nice touch. For alcohol, they also have Corona beer (bottle), sparkling wine, and a highball made with Maker's Mark, which is a pretty high level for this price.

The Strip loin was very tender, and the omāru ebi (lobster) was impressive. We had table seating this time, but I think the counter seats might be better at this restaurant since you can watch them grill the meat.

Teppan-yaki BF

Teppan-yaki BF is a popular Teppan-yaki restaurant where you can enjoy steaks made with Hokkaido Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef). It is a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of Susukino Station on the subway, on the 4th floor of a building along Nishi 3-chome-dori.

For the kurogemagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu), they use A4 rank beef sourced from (Each) production region in Hokkaido. From any seat, you can watch the cooking process and enjoy the steak with all five senses.

The steak in the course is basically filet, but you can also change it to Strip loin for an extra charge. You eat it with miso tare (miso-based sauce), garlic chips, hon-wasabi (real wasabi), salt, and more.

They also offer a wide selection of fresh seafood Teppan-yaki sourced from all over Japan. Every dish is said to be excellent, with the chef's skill shining through.

hirosee128

The second of the two main dishes is Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) Strip loin and Chateaubriand! There is no way these would not be delicious haha. It seems they use a method called rissole, searing the sides before cooking the surface like a steak to lock in the flavor. In general, many Teppan-yaki restaurants do not do this, so this also feels more like French cuisine than Teppan-yaki.

フレンチお姉さん

The Appetizers were cheese that went well with wine. I was impressed. The chilled soup changed flavor partway through with a little alcohol added. I was impressed. There was a salad with baguette, amazingly seasoned sauce, and salted kombu kelp. The meat, enjoyed with carefully selected wasabi, was excellent. The garlic rice, unusually, came with shiso (perilla). It was delicious,,

The steak sauce was light and tasty too.

北の食べロガー

From the Appetizers to the soup, seafood, and main meat dish, everything was delicious. The abalone was especially crunchy, and grilling it together with the liver was the best. The meat was Strip loin and filet, and neither was too heavy, so I finished them with no problem. To finish, the garlic rice and gently flavored miso soup were so good they almost brought me to tears.

北ピカソ

As for abalone, I found myself unable to stop eating, thinking that I much prefer it cooked so I can enjoy its umami rather than its crunchy raw texture. I had the steak cooked medium rare. The savory aroma from the grill and the fresh, rich flavor of the meat, finished with a flambé, made it deeply satisfying and delicious! Don’t forget the Catalana for dessert! It was a grown-up sweet that wasn’t too sweet.

I ordered a course meal at dinner time. Appetizers, salad, soup, and then omar ebi (lobster) were served. It had a nice sweetness and tasted great. Then came the main, steak. It was tender, and the good flavor spread through my mouth, and then beer! The garlic rice was tasty too.

TEPPAN YARO

TEPPAN YARO is just a 1-minute walk from Kita-Nijuyojo Subway Station. This hideaway Teppan-yaki restaurant serves steaks made with Hokkaido Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef).

The interior has a calm atmosphere with a strong Japanese feel. There are 8 counter seats and 3 tables.

The Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) used here is known for its fine marbling and tender texture. You can enjoy its rich aroma and juicy flavor. They will cook it to your preferred doneness.

The counter seats are recommended for those who want to enjoy the steak with all five senses. You can even watch the flambé.

You can order from either the course menu or a la carte. In addition to Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) filet and Strip loin, they also serve pork and foie gras steaks. They also have a good selection of wines to pair with the meat, so you can enjoy the matching.

The photo shows the popular "bacon steak," which is said to have an appetizing smoky aroma.

The interior is a calm space with a very refined feel. Each dish gives the impression of being carefully prepared, and every one tastes great. The steak in particular was excellent, made with Tenderloin that had refined fat so light it did not feel heavy at all.

I booked a course. The steak was tender and juicy! The Caesar salad, uni (sea urchin) spinach, grilled shiitake mushrooms, garlic shrimp, garlic rice, and even the final matcha tiramisu dessert were all homemade with no shortcuts! I enjoyed everything.
