Also, although it’s not in the photos, the mojito is amazing too. It’s a place I’d like to visit again.

This very approachable place is located in a shopping street and is easy to spot from outside. The music is fairly loud, giving it a casual feel. I started with a Beefeater gin and tonic. The master here has a huge love for Beppu and Oita, and told us a lot about Beppu’s history and good local food.
