Jingisukan Daruma-ya Kofu Honten is a specialty restaurant about a 9-minute walk from Kofu Station in Kofu, Yamanashi, where you can enjoy Yakiniku made with lamb under 1 year old in jingisukan (Hokkaido-style grilled lamb) style, a local dish from Hokkaido.
The interior has a homey atmosphere, and the kind service from the staff is said to be part of its appeal.
Photograph:mac1202
The meat centers on super fresh Australian lamb. You can fully enjoy the tender and juicy taste that only young lamb offers.
They offer a wide variety of cuts, including the rare and lean Top sirloin and premium Chuck Eye Roll packed with the good qualities of lamb.
Photograph:米俵将軍
They set a shichirin (charcoal brazier) on the table and cook on a jingisukan (grilled mutton dish) Hot Pot made just for jingisukan, with a raised center.
The meat is cut only after you order, so it is very fresh and well liked for its great taste. They also recommend the lunch set meals, which let you enjoy jingisukan in a casual way.

The course menu alone had plenty of volume, so it was inexpensive and a very Manzoku amount. The ramen served at the end was especially excellent! The jingisukan (grilled mutton dish) also had no off notes at all, making it easy to eat and very tasty!

I didn’t expect to eat jingisukan (grilled mutton dish) in Kofu, but I visited because it had high ratings. I wasn’t sure what to order, but the staff kindly walked me through the menu. For the meat, I ordered shoulder and loin. It had no off notes, was tender, and tasted great! The portion of meat was more than enough.

“Chichibu Yakiniku Horumon Sakaba Marusuke Kofu Ekimae Ten” is a Yakiniku restaurant run directly by the “Chichibu Horumon Association,” in a great location just a 1-minute walk from Kofu Station. You can enjoy a wide range of Horumon made with their secret sauce.
The place is said to have a great atmosphere for lively group meals. Another plus is the fully managed exhaust system, which helps keep Yakiniku smells from clinging to your clothes.
Photograph:トンカツ45
The Horumon is purchased directly from pig farms and carefully prepared to bring out a clean taste with no strong distinctive flavor.
At this restaurant, the Yakiniku style is to pour the sauce directly onto the meat as it grills on the mesh grate. They say this is the best way to enjoy it, a method they arrived at after years of study since the restaurant first opened 40 years ago.
Photograph:baaaaachii
They offer a wide range of Horumon cuts, including cartilage, liver, and Outside skirt, and reviews say the Beef Tongue menu is popular too.
Along with the "green onion salt Beef Tongue" enjoyed with green onions, they also offer pork tongue dishes such as the "Gokujo Buta Tan" made with the rare tip of the tongue and the "Tomaranai Buta Tan" with an excellent crunchy texture.

The balance of sweet fat and juicy flavor was great, and it was highly satisfying. The Kyushu-style drinks and sours were unusual, and it felt fresh to enjoy types I do not usually drink. The atmosphere inside was lively, and I felt it was a casual izakaya (Japanese pub) that was easy to enjoy.

Just as they say, the fresh Horumon is their big draw, and the marucho (small intestine) is especially great. It is right near Kofu Station, and another big plus is that even solo diners can stop by without feeling awkward. After a draft beer, I settled in with a Hoppy set and had a good drink. I ate well.

The staff also explain (Each) type of meat and advise you on the recommended seasoning, so it seems you can fully enjoy Yakiniku in a fun and delicious way.

The big Outside skirt was featured on some TV show! Of course, the staff grills it to just the right doneness. I heard that only those who have practiced enough and been approved are allowed to do the grilling. The medium-rare doneness was excellent.

In addition to easy going options like beer and sour cocktails, they also have a great selection of wine and champagne that pair well with the meat.

In a very stylish and calm atmosphere, the staff grill the meat for you. Anyway, the yukhoe (Korean-style raw beef), Heart sashimi, and Omasum sashimi were incredibly delicious. I was amazed. The dessert is also very good♪♪

The spacious interior has a clean feel and a calm atmosphere that works well for many occasions. Seating options are plentiful, including counter seats, zashiki (tatami seating), and Private rooms.

The whole Domestic A5-rank Wagyu purchased by the head is all processed in-house, which is part of the appeal, as you can enjoy rare Yakiniku cuts that you do not usually see very often.
They are especially particular about female cattle, which are said to have delicate meat quality and rich flavor. Their visually beautiful assortment menu is popular.

In addition to meat dishes, they also offer a lineup of striking creative dishes, and many people apparently come back after trying them once.
The "Homemade Potato Salad" is an eye catching dish with egg yolk overflowing from a soft boiled egg. It seems to deliver not just on looks, but on taste too, for a satisfying finish.

Yesterday, we decided to treat ourselves and ordered the meat Special assortment. Just as the menu says, I recommend it for anyone who wants to enjoy a variety of cuts! Since it comes with eight kinds and eight slices, it was more than enough to leave us Manzoku. Every cut was very tender and melted in the mouth. Personally, the premium tongue was my favorite. The ichibo (aitchbone) was also tender and delicious!

ゆきみ.
A Yakiniku restaurant popular with locals. Since we sat at the counter this time, they grilled everything and served it to us. They have a wide selection of rare cuts, and the meat itself was very good. The quality of the side dishes is also very high. The beef bone ramen, chijimi (Korean pancake), and gyukatsu sando (beef cutlet sandwich) were all really delicious! This is a Yakiniku restaurant I’d want to visit on a day when I feel like treating myself.

This was a good value Yakiniku restaurant. The prices were reasonable, and the staff were polite and pleasant. The meat was fresh and high quality, and the portions were very generous. I think both lunch and dinner are highly satisfying. It does not feel Special, but with its consistent taste and service, it is a place you can visit with peace of mind.

We ordered a variety of dishes, but the best one was the pork from Tsuru City (production region)!! The pork fat was not heavy, had a nice sweetness, and tasted amazing!! It was so good I felt like I could eat plate after plate. The Beef Tongue was also thick cut and very tasty.

The manager is a former Italian chef, and the restaurant is said to be popular for dishes you do not usually find at a Yakiniku restaurant, such as basil flavored meat, curry, and Neapolitan pasta.
The piping hot grilled cheese curry ordered that day was said to stand out for its tender meat and melted cheese.
鈴のSora
We ordered the full set of meat, beer, and curry or ramen to finish! No matter which cut we tried—tongue, loin, Outside skirt, short rib, or Horumon—the meat tasted so good you could really tell the quality was high! The draft beer was ice cold too, and it paired perfectly with Yakiniku! I think this is definitely the right place for a day when you want to treat yourself a little!

You can enjoy rare cuts sliced to a pretty impressive thickness! Considering the weight, I think it is amazing value for money. I have never had Flap meat this thick before! The tsurami (beef cheek) and upper Mountain chain tripe are also tasty. I do not usually order kalbi gukbap, but this one was my personal best. The soup has the sweetness of the meat cooked into it, with just the right richness and depth.

Tajimaya Konosuke's "Today's Yakiniku B Lunch" is a highly satisfying Yakiniku lunch. It comes piled high with quality kalbi (short rib) and roast beef cuts, and the nicely marinated sauce brings out the meat's rich flavor. When you grill it slowly over charcoal, the savory aroma and melt-in-your-mouth texture fill your mouth, and you will not be able to stop eating the rice.
