Yakiniku House Daishogun Kanazawa Ten is a Yakiniku restaurant located about 10 minutes by car from JR Kanazawa Station and about a 5-minute walk from the Katamachi Scramble Intersection.
Set in a 200-year-old kominka (traditional Japanese house), the restaurant offers an out-of-the-ordinary space where the history and modern side of the old city of Kanazawa come together, creating a Special Yakiniku experience you will not find elsewhere.
Photograph:おうじ
They use Noto-gyu (Noto beef), known for its fine texture and refined fat. Skilled experts who know meat inside and out carefully select the Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu), and the staff grill each slice right in front of you and serve it with care.
It is well known as a place where you can enjoy lively Yakiniku with a real live feel, taking in even the aroma and the browning as it cooks.
Photograph:Chien0130
At the counter, they cook Special rice selected from around Japan in a hagama (traditional iron pot).
The freshly cooked rice is plump all the way through, with a light sweetness and toasty aroma. It is served in an ohitsu (wooden rice container) and is popular as a dish that brings out the flavor of the Special Wagyu.

I visited this restaurant for a social gathering. The interior has a calm atmosphere and feels very stylish. The meat was excellent too, so this is a place I’d recommend. This time, I ordered a course meal. The portions were generous, and it was a Manzoku kind of place.

We ordered items like Premium Outside skirt and Premium Loin, and everything was very good. The meat was great, of course, but the rice served in an ohitsu (wooden rice container), where you can choose the amount you need, was especially delicious, and I was impressed by the touch of being able to pick my favorite rice bowl from 9 kinds for serving that rice. The staff were also very welcoming, and I appreciate how bright and cheerful they were with us.

"Suzuya" is a Yakiniku restaurant certified for Noto gyu (Noto beef), located about an 8-minute walk from the Kenrokuen Exit of JR Kanazawa Station.
You can casually enjoy authentic Yakiniku at table seats equipped with gas shichirin (small charcoal-style grill) roasters. Since it is by reservation only, you need to book in advance.

The menu offers a total of three options: the Noto-gyu (Noto beef) Premium Yaki-suki course, the Noto-gyu Zanmai course, and the steak course.
You can enjoy brand-name Wagyu, carefully selected for its production region and label, in the simple style of Yakiniku. There were also reviews praising how good it was, saying the meat's freshness and flavor were top-notch.

The "yakisuki" is a popular menu item that lets you enjoy Noto gyu (Noto beef) with beautiful marbling, cooked just the way you like.
The thinly sliced meat is grilled until fragrant, bringing out the sweetness of the fat and its rich savory flavor. It is said to be a must-order dish, all the way through to the finish of mixing it with egg and sauce and serving it over rice.

The main Noto beef (premium wagyu from Noto) is insanely good! The meat is so good and melts in your mouth!! The owner also showed us how to grill it. You put the fatty side down and stack it like a little mound! The meat the owner grilled had a nice toasty aroma and tasted even better!!

It was a tasty place and fun as a conversation piece. The first Yakiniku dishes were also good, and above all, the yaki-suki (sukiyaki-style grilled beef) was really delicious. The marbling felt a bit rich for an older guy, but it went perfectly with rice and made me want to eat it again. More than anything, the owner has a very strong character, so I think it is a good choice if you go with friends who can enjoy that.

This place is known for Yakiniku made with fresh meat, carefully selected with a strong focus on sourcing.
The meat is said to have a nice smoky and juicy flavor that you can only get by grilling it over binchotan (high-grade charcoal). They also offer different cuts of Beef Tongue, including the "Gokujo Nama Tan" and "green onion salt Beef Tongue."

The "kai-dashi (shellfish broth) green onion salt kombu kelp water cold noodles" is an easy dish to enjoy after Yakiniku.
The soup, made with shellfish broth and kombu kelp water, is light, and the flavor of the green onion salt adds a nice accent. It is not too heavy even after eating meat, making it just right for a finishing bowl.
まさまさつえぞう
The storefront has the feel of a casual Yakiniku restaurant, but the meat was outstandingly good. The grilled whole shrimp was also on the small side, making it a great dish you could eat head and all. The finishing Clay Pot rice had Beef Tongue and what seemed to be finely chopped takuan (pickled daikon). We found an amazing restaurant on Christmas Eve.

・Kai dashi (shellfish broth) green onion salt kombu kelp water cold noodles
I chose the cold noodles to finish the meal, a new style of reimen (cold noodles) that you can only taste here. Black pepper adds an accent, and the flavor is neat and refreshing yet full of deep umami. The noodles go down smoothly and have a nice springy texture, and even though cold noodles are made up of “cold noodles + cold soup,” this dish offers more than just a refreshing taste, with a proper lingering finish.

They serve Special cuts of meat sourced from around the country, hand-cut fresh every day.
A popular item is the Hida-gyu (Hida beef) "salted tongue." Each slice is thick and substantial, and people say it has a tender bite and tastes great.
Photograph:青空のグルメ
The lunch menu is popular too, with Wagyu assortments and hard to find cuts on offer.
A full lineup includes sauce with just a touch of sweetness and a clean finish, along with lightly seasoned namul (seasoned vegetable side dishes) and salads. Reviews also said diners enjoyed the Special feeling of having Yakiniku at lunch, along with a calm atmosphere that felt true to Kanazawa.

A friend introduced me to Kanazawa Yakiniku Senara when I was on a business trip to Kanazawa. The interior, which feels like a kominka (traditional Japanese house) turned into a Yakiniku restaurant, was very stylish and relaxing ☺️I personally really liked the chijimi (Korean-style savory pancake) and the thick-cut tongue, and I ended up ordering more. The prices were also reasonable, and it was a place I’d like to stop by again the next time I’m in Kanazawa.

"Yakiniku Horumon Shibafu" is a Yakiniku restaurant about a 3-minute walk from Kanazawa Station on the Hokuriku Railroad.
The spacious counter seats are popular, and many people visit on their own. The table seating can be rearranged, so it is also a good choice for families and groups.
Photograph:1117i.r
The meat is available A la carte, of course, and the well-rounded courses are also popular.
If it’s your first visit, the recommended choice is the basic plan, the “Shibafu Yakiniku Course.” The various Horumon are grilled right in front of you by the staff together with bean sprouts.
The restaurant’s style is to enjoy them with a white sauce with a nice garlic kick and a black sauce made by blending several kinds of miso.
Photograph:ゼミ鳥
Their signature “Teppan-yaki slanted grill” is cooked on a diagonally designed iron plate. By finishing it while catching the fat that drips from the meat, the rich flavor spreads through the whole dish.
The photo shows the “To finish yakisoba,” and reviews said the thick noodles mixed with the meat fat and the gentle sweetness of the egg made it an unforgettable taste.
こたろー/
A senior colleague recommended this place to me, so I visited while I was on a business trip! It has counter seating only, and the staff grill everything for you in a very careful style. The Horumon was delicious, with not just great grilling but also a rich meat flavor you could really taste!

"Yakiniku Adan" is a Yakiniku restaurant about a 6-minute walk from the Higashi Keisatsusho-mae bus stop in Kanazawa City. It has a parking lot, so coming by car is also a good option.

You can enjoy Noto-gyu (Noto beef) and carefully selected Wagyu from around Japan as Yakiniku.
The photo shows the “Wagyu Top blade,” known for its melt-in-your-mouth texture. Some say it is their favorite among the many menu items. The lean meat marinated in the house-made spices also seems to be popular.
The house made kabocha (Japanese pumpkin) pudding also gets good reviews.
This finishing dessert lets you enjoy a smooth texture and the gentle natural sweetness of kabocha. Since only a limited number are available, they recommend ordering it early.
のののむのむ
Every meat dish we ordered was delicious. I think my favorite was the Wagyu Top blade. They also seem to have a wide variety of Horumon. If you want to try a little bit of each, the Horumon Mix might be a good choice. I forgot to order Adan's specialty, spiced Yakiniku. Next time, I want to try that. They also had some slightly unusual side dishes on the menu.

Yakiniku Ushimaru Kanazawa Kiguramachi Ten is a Yakiniku restaurant located within walking distance of Nomachi Station on the Hokuriku Railroad Ishikawa Line, and just steps from the Katamachi Hokutetsu bus stop.
It also seems popular with locals because each person gets their own roaster, so they can enjoy Yakiniku at their own pace.
Photograph:シルビアン
You can enjoy high quality Yakiniku made with carefully selected A4 and A5 rank Wagyu.
They also offer ultra rare cuts that are hard to come by in everyday life, such as hirehimo (part of the tenderloin) and necktie steak. It is said to be fun to change up the flavor with wasabi, salt, or sauce.
Photograph:しげさんだー
Another reason for its popularity is that every cut of meat can be ordered one slice at a time.
They carefully cut each order after it comes in and serve it fresh, which is why people say you can enjoy it at its very best.
Reviews also said that each slice was large and very satisfying to eat.
I had the lean meat set (Outside knuckle, ribeye center, Sirloin cap) and the kalbi set (head belly, sasami (part of the flank), inside skirt), along with a large rice and the reservation coupon’s welcome glass of beer. The light, tasty lean cuts and juicy kalbi were of course great with rice when eaten with wasabi, salt, and sauce, and every one of them also went well with beer.

The high quality cuts of meat, including rare parts, are well liked.
They hand prepare carefully selected Wagyu every day, and the popular "Gyu-mori assortment" features beef round, Outside skirt, and short rib. The beef round only needs to be seared for a few seconds on each side. It is tender, and lets you enjoy the meat's natural flavor.

They also offer a wide selection of à la carte dishes that go well with alcohol.
Among them, the chijimi is pleasantly chewy and comes in a solid portion, making it a dish that is easy to share. They also serve makgeolli, and some reviews said they were able to fully enjoy a Korean-style dining experience.

This restaurant is said to be a great place to fully enjoy Yakiniku made with meat and Horumon selected with a focus on freshness. The meat is carefully prepared, with each cut finished to pair well with the Homemade sauce.
They also take care not just with the meat, but with everything else too, from the heaping cabbage appetizer to the Handmade sauces, dressings, and soups.

The popular menu item is the "Horumon," which really stands out for its freshness.
The Horumon, rubbed with spicy miso or a salt-based sauce, is said to release more and more flavor the more you chew, making it go great with both drinks and rice. The "Aka MIX Shiro MIX," which combines red and white, is a classic combo you will want to order first.

I visited this Yakiniku restaurant near the hotel. The place was very crowded, probably because it is popular, but the food came out quickly. I remember all of the Yakiniku menu items being very good. I finished the meal with ramen (Japanese noodle soup).

I came here for the first time for my company's New Year Party. Maybe because we had booked a course, they kept bringing out more and more meat, and I got to try a variety of cuts. We also ordered something like an ajillo with red sausages as an extra, and it was a great pick! It was very good!

Niku no Megumi is a Yakiniku restaurant in a hideaway location about 10 minutes by car from JR Kanazawa Station, tucked one alley in from a main street.
It opens in the evening and stays open until 8 the next morning, so some reviews say it comes in handy when you get a late-night craving for Yakiniku.
Inside, there is counter seating on the first floor, and on the second floor there are zashiki (tatami seating) areas with roll-screen partitions.

They offer a selection of rare Wagyu, centered on Noto-gyu (Noto beef).
They cut the meat from blocks in-house and serve each cut with the right thickness and knife work for that part. The dishes are presented on Kutani-yaki (Kutani ware) plates, so you can enjoy a taste of Kanazawa not just in the flavor but in the presentation too.

The "thick-cut tongue" is a satisfying dish with a good balance of fat and lean meat.
Cut to a solid thickness, it turns nicely browned on the outside and juicy inside when grilled. With each bite, the meat's flavor spreads across your palate, and it is said to be pleasantly filling.

A precious Yakiniku spot in Kanazawa where you can eat late at night. While most restaurants close at night, this place stays open until early morning, and for a late-night dining spot, it stands out as by far one of the best!

The thick cut tongue, fresh liver, Outside skirt, tetchan (beef large intestine), the a la carte cucumber dish, and the cold noodles were all delicious. I was very satisfied. The counter seating did not feel cramped and had a nice feel to it. Even the small plates and sauce dishes were lovely, which made everything taste even better. I would like to visit again when I come to Kanazawa (Kanazawa).
