The full crab course was delicious. I was happy to have crab sashimi too, and it was Manzoku! The alcohol in the koura-zake (sake served in a crab shell) was a little strong! Haha. They showed us to a Private room, and we were able to relax and take our time. The next time I go to Sapporo, I’d like to try ordering a la carte as well. It was a great meal.

We asked for the crab course. We also added All you can drink and asked for pairings that would go well with the food. Dipping the sashimi in kani miso (crab tomalley) before eating it was the best part. We also enjoyed all of the seasonal sansai (mountain vegetables).

I booked the kegani (horsehair crab) full course, and since reviews said the crab sashimi was good, I made a request. They kindly agreed, but said they could only serve it if live kegani came in On-the-Day. Luckily, they were able to serve the crab sashimi that day. Every other dish was tasty too, and the course felt like a great deal.

I enjoyed a course where I could fully savor authentic Hokkaido crab! The otoshi (small appetizer), takowasa (wasabi-marinated octopus), and sashimi were fresh and delicious, the kani miso (crab tomalley) chawanmushi (savory egg custard) was rich, the kani-shabu (crab hotpot) was served half-raw and very sweet, and the grilled tarabagani (red king crab) and kegani (horsehair crab) had firm, really delicious meat.

This was my first visit to this restaurant since summer. In summer, I ordered kegani (horsehair crab) arai, and in winter, zuwai-gani (snow crab) arai. It was much more expensive than the kegani I had last time, but I got to enjoy very tasty arai. I also ordered tarabagani (red king crab) sashimi, grilled tarabagani, kani (crab) cream croquettes, and tarabagani, plus zuwai-gani aburi sushi. The tarabagani sashimi and aburi sushi were especially good, and I would definitely order them again next time.

A Hokkaido izakaya where the seafood dishes are genuinely good. The shrimp grabbing and crab grabbing are fun entertainment too, and since I took people who were not from Sapporo that day, we did it 3 times. The shrimp can be eaten raw, and having them quickly deep fried whole was also very tasty.

よしおっす。
What surprised us first was the freshness of the fish, which was hard to believe for an izakaya. The sashimi quality was really high, and everyone was impressed, saying, "This level at this price!?" On top of that, the shrimp grabbing experience is also fun and gets everyone excited. Among the dishes, the standout was the "salad ramen," which was absolutely delicious. According to the staff, it is a Hokkaido specialty, and its light taste was addictive.

I ordered my favorites: taraba (red king crab) and zuwai (snow crab) sashimi, taraba and zuwai Crab hot pot, and kani-miso (crab tomalley)! The sashimi was thick-cut and tasty. I’m the type who doesn’t use soy sauce, but it still had a nice salty taste, so I really enjoyed it✨I also had a little of the rich-tasting kani-miso as a great snack to go with my drink!

I went to Hokkaido because I wanted to eat crab. The restaurant had a very nice washitsu (traditional Japanese room) with zashiki (tatami seating), and the staff welcomed us in wafuku (traditional Japanese clothing). Needless to say, the crab was excellent. We could compare different kinds of crab, from zuwai-gani (snow crab) to taraba-gani (red king crab), and finished with kani-zosui (crab rice porridge). If you want to eat kani (crab) outside of the course menu, this is a great pick. We mainly had tarabagani (red king crab), along with sashimi, charcoal-grilled dishes, tempura, croquettes, kamameshi, oysters, and a few drinks... Kegani (horsehair crab) is the only choice. This is delicious. The meat and the kani miso (crab tomalley) are all great. The legs, which you eat while picking out the meat even as the sharp shell pricks your fingertips and you say it hurts, and the kani miso, which you scoop out in big spoonfuls. It is blissful luxury.
