One of the popular items in the Shikisai Course is the ai-mori (combined assortment) shabu-shabu with Kobe beef and crab.
The Kobe beef, with its beautiful balance of lean meat and fat, is said to turn tender and almost melt apart when swished through the broth, spreading rich, high quality flavor. The crab seems to stand out even more in flavor as it soaks up the dashi (Japanese soup stock).

The photo shows the “Wagyu shabu-shabu lunch.”
The Wagyu, marbled with fine fat, is said to turn tender after just a few seconds in the hot water. Reviews say it feels light on the palate, and the more you chew, the more flavor spreads through your mouth.
The crab course is built around seasonal ingredients, with crab shabu-shabu and small plates of旬魚 served one after another, making the meal more and more satisfying with each dish! The service is polite, and they explain each dish with care.

I had the shabu-shabu with Special beef. Kobe beef is a bit out of my price range, but the meat was so good that I was totally Manzoku! All three sauces were tasty, and I especially liked the ponzu sauce and the spicy sauce! Finally, if you like annin dofu (apricot kernel tofu pudding), give the dessert a try, because it is really good lol

The fat in the thinly sliced Kuroge Wagyu is said to be sweet and light. Each slice enjoyed with the fragrant dashi (broth) is said to feel very satisfying. Many people also say the quality is hard to believe for All you can eat.

Only at Hachiyama can you enjoy shabu-shabu along with All you can eat sushi, tempura, and ebi-shabu (shrimp hotpot).
The shrimp is said to be very fresh, and a quick dip in the hot water brings out its texture. There were also reviews saying that the sushi and tempura were all enjoyable without getting old, and people ended up ordering more and eating too much.
I visited for a work social gathering. The shabu-shabu and sushi were such high quality that it was hard to believe it was All you can eat, and I ate right up until time was up. I especially recommend hon-maguro (bluefin tuna). You can also enjoy All you can eat tempura, including unusual items like banana, so I never got bored and enjoyed it all the way through. I’d like to go again!

I fully enjoyed the All you can eat shabu-shabu (Japanese hotpot). The meat was even more tender than I expected, and I could keep eating more and more. There was also a wide variety of sushi and tempura, and I loved that the tempura came out freshly fried and crispy! The restaurant also has Private room seating, which made it comfortable to spend time there, and it was perfect for a meal with friends.

About a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Station, Kurobuta Ajito Dear Nishiazabu offers all-Private room seating where you can relax and take your time.
Inside, the restaurant has a high-quality space with subdued lighting. It is said to be an adult private dining spot that is also chosen for business meals and entertaining.
The photo shows shabu-shabu made with Roppaku Kurobuta (Berkshire black pork) from Kagoshima Prefecture.
The loin brings out the natural sweetness of the meat, and just a quick dip in the hot water gives it a moist, tender texture. Paired with the rich dashi (broth), its good flavor spreads across the palate, while the texture of the green onions adds a nice accent.

The "Kurobuta Hitokuchi Gyoza" are small, Hakata-style dumplings.
They are crisp and fragrant on the outside, and when you bite in, juicy meat juices packed with the flavor of kurobuta (Berkshire pork) overflow from inside. Add yuzu kosho (yuzu chili pepper paste) for a fresh kick of heat, making this a dish you will keep reaching for even between bites of shabu-shabu.

・Shabu-shabu Course
The meat for the shabu-shabu is as high quality as ever, with a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The vegetables are fresh too, and they go perfectly with the dashi (Japanese soup stock). It is simple, but you can really taste the quality of the ingredients, making you want to come back again and again.

To let you enjoy the true flavor of the meat, this kurobuta (Berkshire pork) shabu-shabu is served with dashi broth! The meat was tender and of course delicious, but the broth was incredibly good!!! The lighting inside is slightly dimmed, and every room is a Private room. It was a luxurious, grown-up private space where you could relax and take your time.

With the "Miyamazakura" course that includes All you can drink, you can enjoy seasonal dishes along with shabu-shabu made with branded pork.
The pork, swished through the fragrant broth, is rich in flavor and pairs perfectly with vegetables and yakumi (condiments). You can enjoy the meal with Japanese sake or shochu, making this a highly satisfying course.

I visited for lunch for the first time. The Private room was relaxing, and it seems like a good place to use for dinners or business meals at night as well. I enjoyed everything from the Appetizers to the main shabu-shabu. The chopped green onions served as condiments were All you can eat, and you dip them in the broth to eat. For the soba at the end, adding curry powder changes the flavor and gives it a curry taste. Everything was delicious.

This is shabu-shabu served with Kyoto dashi (Japanese soup stock). On this day, I enjoyed crab and beef. They are particular about keeping the snow crab dashi shabu at 85〜90 degrees. They say this temperature range makes the crab tighten up just right and taste its best.

The house-made "Buta Shumai (pork siu mai)" is said to have rich meaty flavor, nicely balanced by its pleasantly chewy texture. Some reviews also said that adding mustard sharpens the finish and makes it a great match for drinks.

I couldn't forget the agu-buta (Okinawan Agu pork) shabu-shabu I had in Okinawa, so I visited. The interior and menu were both full of things that let you enjoy authentic Okinawa, which made it a lot of fun. As expected, agu-buta was exceptionally delicious. Dipping it in shiikuwasa (Okinawan citrus) ponzu sauce was absolutely the best. It was reasonably priced, and I'll definitely visit again!

For "shabu-shabu," you can compare three cuts: loin, belly, and Chuck Eye Roll.
The Iwanaka-buta (Iwanaka pork) from Iwate Prefecture has pure white fat. The gentle flavor of the salt-based broth brings out the meat's sweetness, and some reviews say it is so good they could keep eating slice after slice.

The main dish is shabu-shabu. You can enjoy three kinds of meat: loin, belly, and Chuck Eye Roll. The salt-based broth lets you fully enjoy the good flavors of the meat and vegetables. For an additional charge, you can enjoy both shabu-shabu (Japanese hotpot) and sukiyaki (Japanese hotpot).
The sukiyaki is said to pair well with the warishita sauce and Wagyu, and the staff carefully prepares it for you. When dipped in the rich, velvety egg, it opens up deep savory flavor, letting you enjoy a different kind of deliciousness from shabu-shabu.

For example, this is the only place that even has a way to drain the meat after swishing it in the shabu-shabu. You can really tell they value tradition while working hard to raise customer satisfaction. That is probably why they have been going strong for 40 years. Even though the meat is thinly sliced, they spread it out on large platters, so it has a very impressive look.

Onyasai's Wagyu and tongue are really great!! Enjoy plenty of Wagyu, and when it starts to feel a little rich, refresh your palate with the tongue! While eating lots of share-negi (thinly sliced green onion), nira (garlic chives), and sliced carrots, and now and then cleansing your palate with yuba (tofu skin), before we knew it, 7 of us had feasted on 130 servings of meat and just under 40 servings of green onions and more~!
