Shabu-shabu and Yakiniku Waniku Middorando Sukuea Ten

Shabu Shabu to Yakiniku Waniku Midland Square Ten, on the 4F of Midland Square near Nagoya Station, is a restaurant produced by a long established food wholesaler where you can enjoy shabu-shabu and Yakiniku.

The interior has a high quality feel with soft lighting, and while it looks refined, it still has an atmosphere that works well for everyday dining. Private rooms are also available.

The shabu-shabu and Yakiniku use Special cuts such as Kobe beef sent direct from producers.

They say it not only looks beautiful, but also lets you fully enjoy the Tenderloin texture of the meat and the rich flavor of its fat. The popular signature dish is Hire-shabu (Tenderloin shabu-shabu), made with carefully selected ingredients.

For the shabu-shabu, they use a carefully made broth drawn from Rausu kombu kelp from Hokkaido to bring out the flavor of the Wagyu.

They also blend in fragrant hana-katsuo (dried bonito flakes), creating a deep, rich taste and full aroma. The amber-colored broth seems to pair perfectly with high quality Wagyu.

食べまくりCA

It has a spacious Semi-private room-like feel, with a wide night view that makes it nice and relaxing. It also seems like a good spot when adults want to sit back and talk at length! Just like the name suggests, you can choose between shabu-shabu and Yakiniku. I ordered the lean meat for shabu-shabu, and for the price, it came with plenty of meat and felt very satisfying! The meat was high quality, tender, and had no off notes, and it was delicious.

I made a reservation for the weekend and had the shabu-shabu and Yakiniku course. The service was kind and lovely. The very first Tenderloin shabu-shabu was tender and very delicious. The meat for the shabu-shabu that followed was also good. I also enjoyed the Yakiniku. The kani-kamameshi (crab pot rice) was also just the right portion and seasoning.

Saibitobi Hida Beef Shabusukiya Bakuro Ichidai Nagoya WEST

Saibitobi Hidagyu Shabusukiya Bakuichidai Nagoya WEST is a specialty restaurant where you can enjoy Hida-gyu (Hida beef), a Japanese Black Wagyu raised in Gifu Prefecture, as shabushabu and sukiyaki, and it has been selected as one of the Tabelog 100 for sukiyaki and shabushabu.

It is also well located, just a 2-minute walk from Nagoya Station, and is popular as a convenient and easy-to-use restaurant.

For shabu-shabu (Japanese hotpot), you swish the meat through the broth yourself, then eat it with sesame sauce or ponzu sauce.

The Hida-gyu (Hida beef) is said to be so tender that it falls apart just from being picked up with chopsticks, and it melts away as soon as it hits your mouth. Letting some of the fat render into the broth brings out the meat's rich flavor.

To enjoy the great taste of Hida-gyu (Hida beef), hitsumabushi is also a good choice. The photo shows the lunch-only "Bakuro Hitsumabushi Gozen set."

The rice is covered edge to edge with meat, and it is said to taste great either as is or with dashi broth poured over it for a light ochazuke-style meal.

dai-dai-daisuki

We had the Hodaka shabu-shabu course and Hida-gyu (Hida beef) hitsumabushi (rice topped with grilled eel-style beef eaten in stages). The meat looked beautiful and tasted really great, and the broth and dipping sauces were also refined and delicious. The course was so full and every dish was good, yet the price was very reasonable, making this a place you would want to visit again and again.

激おこプンプン丸٩(๑`^´๑)۶

The Nagoya Cochin (premium Japanese chicken breed) shabu-shabu was made by quickly swishing thin slices through the broth, bringing out a springy bite that popped with every chew while the sweet richness of the fat gently spread across the tongue. The chicken hitsumabushi (grilled chicken over rice eaten in stages) felt luxurious, with the aroma of the fragrant grill and sweet soy glaze rising from the bowl, and when broth was poured over it, refined umami flowed out.

Suimengetsu Meieki Ten

Suimengetsu Meieki Ten is a restaurant where you can enjoy mainly Japanese cuisine, including shabu-shabu featuring hamaguri (hard clam) broth and Nagoya specialties.

It is well known for the pleasant atmosphere of its fully private rooms, and some reviews say you can relax there like in a room at a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) without being bothered by voices from next door. The Private rooms are available for parties of 2 or more.

For the shabu-shabu, served with a carefully made hamaguri (hard clam) broth, you can choose from several kinds of meat, including Beef Tongue and kuri-buta (chestnut-fed pork).

The fragrant, rich hamaguri broth pairs well with every type of meat. They also offer assortment menus with different meats.

Nagoya specialties like tebasaki (chicken wings) and fried shrimp are also recommended. Perfect for the cold season is the “Rich! Miso Oden.”

This dish adds red miso to hamaguri (hard clam) broth for extra depth, and it seems like a good match as a snack with drinks. In addition to A la carte orders, a 5-item assortment is also available.

りゅー0216

For the main shabu-shabu (Japanese hotpot) in this course, you get to enjoy two kinds of meat, A5 Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) and Beef Tongue, with three kinds of sauces, and the best part was adding rice to the leftover broth, now full of rich meat flavor after the shabu-shabu, and finishing it as zosui (rice porridge).

えむ直

The interior has a calm Japanese feel, and with fully private rooms, you can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace. The menu focuses on Japanese food, with plenty of Nagoya specialties as well. The ebi-fry (deep-fried shrimp) in particular had a unique shape that made a strong visual impression and was fun to see, and it tasted great too, with a crisp coating that was so good I wanted another order.

トモミ1208

I had the soy milk shabu-shabu Gozen set. The freshly made oboro-dofu (soft tofu) served first had a light texture and a clear sweetness from the soybeans. It had the gentle taste you only get when it is made fresh. The Kyoto pork shabu-shabu went perfectly with the mild richness of the soy milk, and it came with plenty of vegetables.

The first dish to arrive was crab gratin. The rich white sauce was packed with plenty of crab meat, and each bite brought out the sweet flavor of the crab. The aroma of the nicely browned cheese was also just right. Next came kani-shabu (crab hotpot). It was beautifully presented, and the fresh crab meat looked plump and springy at a glance.

ヒノメシ

Starting with kani sashimi (raw crab slices), then kani sukiyaki (crab sukiyaki), and finally kani no koura-yaki (grilled crab shell), it was a blissful moment that let the palate travel in elegance. ・All you can eat buta-shabu shabu (pork shabu-shabu) & vegetable buffet
This time, I could choose 2 kinds of broth, so I went with Japanese-style broth and sukiyaki broth. The Japanese-style broth really brought out the natural sweetness of the vegetables, while the sukiyaki broth was a versatile option that gave the buta-shabu shabu plenty of flavor just by dipping it in. Both paired well, and it was fun to switch depending on my mood.

It was my first time trying Beef Tongue shabu-shabu, and it was light, so I could enjoy it even in the summer! The portion size was just right, and I’d like to visit again if I get the chance.
