Tori Kisso

This is a charcoal grilled yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) specialist with a calm atmosphere, like a hideaway for adults. Its unchanged flavors since opening have been loved in Yokohama for many years.

At the lively U-shaped counter seats, you can enjoy a relaxing time.

The authentic yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), grilled to a fragrant finish, uses fresh chicken delivered daily. The restaurant offers both A la carte options and an Omakase course with 11 skewers.

You can choose your preferred doneness, either well done or rare, and the skewers are served at just the right timing.

The restaurant's specialty, "chochin," is only available A la carte. It is available in limited quantities.

It comes with two immature eggs, so they recommend tasting the yolks in your mouth first, then eating them together with the meat.

よこしまひめこ

The Heart and seseri (neck meat) were especially tasty, and I ordered more. The staff were also kind, and it was really delicious and fun to drink while watching the yakitori being grilled from the counter!

With its kominka-fu (traditional Japanese house-style) look, the restaurant has just the right level of lighting inside, which really builds anticipation. I ordered the Omakase. Every yakitori skewer was delicious, and each one arrived at just the right timing, so it could be a good choice for business dinners as well. Considering the quality, the price is good too.

Yakitori Arakiyama Yokohama Ten

On the 9th floor of Yokohama More's, a 2-minute walk from Yokohama Station. This restaurant serves not only yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) but also Special wines and Japanese sake.

You can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace in the calm space with an open counter.

The Daisendori used in "Arakiyama Honkaku Yakitori Kushi" is raised in an environment surrounded by abundant nature. It is said to be appealing for its high quality fat and mild richness.

Skilled chefs carefully grill each yakitori skewer one by one, so the aroma of charcoal is said to spread the moment you take a bite.

Another nice point is that you can choose from branded chickens such as Date-dori (premium chicken brand). It seems you can enjoy juicy meat with rich flavor.

The "Date-dori thigh" is tender and offers a Special feel that sets it apart from the usual skewers.

As for the contents of the Omakase 7-skewer assortment, I forgot to write them down, so this is a bit vague, but I think it was something like this.【sasami (chicken tenderloin)/bonjiri (chicken tail)/tsunagi (part of the heart)/furisode (part of the shoulder)/negima (chicken and scallion skewer)/kokoro (heart)/gokujo reba-kushi (premium liver skewer)】They were all tender and tasty. The oyako-don (chicken and egg rice bowl) was wonderfully silky too ◎.

I reserved just the seats and ordered only the dishes we wanted A la carte, and everything was incredibly good♪ In particular, be sure to try the "gokujo reba (premium liver)" and the "furisode (shoulder meat)". The juices from the furisode were so rich that even now, just thinking about it fills my mouth with flavor♪ This is a place that will make you glad you went♪ It gets fully booked even on weekdays, so I think it’s better to make a reservation before you go♪

The kushiyaki (grilled skewers) are carefully grilled in-house, with close attention paid to every detail, from how the skewers are prepared to the seasoning and the doneness. The secret to their great taste is the house secret sauce and the perfect touch of salt.

With the "Omakase 10 Skewers," you can enjoy a variety of cuts.

The Quick Drink set comes with a drink and a snack, and being able to choose draft beer makes it feel like a great deal. For the snack, the tsukune (chicken meatball skewer) is recommended, and it tastes as good as you would expect from a yakitori (grilled chicken skewer) restaurant. The Kara-age is also great, crispy on the outside and juicy inside.

The Homemade tsukune (chicken meatball) is a large meatball served on a skewer, and you eat it dipped in beaten egg yolk. The hot tsukune coated with egg yolk tastes really good. I definitely want you to try it. The tasty yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) also goes great with drinks.

こまみほ

The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was slightly rare and delicious. They seem to offer courses as well, but I ordered à la carte. The sasami (chicken tenderloin) and reba (liver) are recommended rare. It was also nice that I could order the yakitori one skewer at a time.

For yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), the liver and sasami (chicken tenderloin) with wasabi are best enjoyed rare. It is easy to end up ordering mostly meat, but the grilled vegetables are tasty too, so skewers like asparagus, eggplant, and ginnan (ginkgo nuts) are worth trying. I have not ordered it myself, but the restaurant has a recommended course, so that might be a good one to try.

Taishu Tori Sakaba Toriichizu Yokohama Nishiguchi Minamisaiwai Ten

This is a casual izakaya pub known for its mizutaki (chicken hotpot) and yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). You can casually enjoy authentic chicken dishes here.

The interior is spacious and has a lively atmosphere. They say you can get in smoothly if you make a reservation in advance.

The specialty Imabari yakitori (grilled chicken skewers from Imabari) is a local specialty from Imabari City in Ehime Prefecture. It is said to be served in a bold style where it is pressed on a Teppan-yaki griddle before eating.

Because the extra fat cooks off, you can enjoy just the juicy, rich flavor of the chicken.

The highly rated "hiden kawa-kushi (secret sauce chicken skin skewer)" in reviews is said to be crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It is so good that you will not be able to stop drinking beer.

They also recommend eating it with their special spicy powder.

A chicken specialty restaurant near Yokohama West Exit with some of the best value around. The "kawa-kushi" grilled on a Teppan-yaki plate instead of skewered is an absolute must try! The bone-in chicken is impressively hearty too, and the lineup is packed with dishes that go great with drinks.
