I visited Tokyo Big Sight for a sensing exhibition.
First, let's grab some lunch.
There’s a food court that is just perfect, with five options: udon, curry, seafood rice bowls, Western cuisine, and tsukemen. I chose tsukemen.
Each stall has its own name, but perhaps due to the smaller scale of the exhibition today, the tsukemen and curry are being handled at the same register. It seems they are operated by the same vendor.
What’s remarkable about this place, as others have mentioned, is how incredibly fast the food comes out. There's no need for a cumbersome electronic number system; you call out your order loudly, and after paying, you’re told, "Please wait at the pick-up counter." When I got there, my dish was already ready.
However, I was a bit surprised to see that the dipping sauce looked almost like just liquid, especially compared to the picture of the toppings that were heaped up.
(Did they forget some toppings?)
But after tasting it, I realized everything was indeed there without a doubt. It really reinforced the importance of presenting food well when photographing it. Above all, I was grateful for the time saved!
