The interior was furnished throughout with antique-style furniture, and I was able to relax and take my time in the calm atmosphere! The coffee had a deep flavor, with a firm bitterness that stood out! I couldn't help ordering a melon soda too! Haha The place was really lively too♪

It is located just a short walk from Kanayama Sogo Eki (Kanayama General Station). I had known for a while that there was a kissaten (traditional Japanese coffee shop) here, but the timing never worked out, so I was finally able to visit this time. The interior has that classic kissaten feel. The retro atmosphere is nice.

The "iced coffee" comes with a glass filled with ice and a cup of hot coffee. You pour the coffee yourself and drink it in that style. Some people also said it was tasty because the aroma stayed intact.
It also pairs perfectly with sandwiches.

Lunch at a Showa retro kissaten (traditional Japanese coffee shop) around the area between Kanayama Station and Higashi Betsuin Station, where the fried shrimp sandwich is delicious(´∀`)The ankake pasta (pasta with thick savory sauce) made by the owner, who trained at Konparu, and the carefully made iced coffee are also worth checking out☕️(^▽^)

This is a restaurant I had wanted to visit for a long time. It was easy to enter even alone, and the bright interior felt somehow nostalgic, for some reason reminding me of my student days^_^ The pasta was delicious. The salad was also generous. The baguette was nice and crispy, and delicious! Next time, I’d like to try an oil-based pasta too.

The interior has a retro, cozy feel, with an atmosphere that makes it easy to stop by even on your own. It is such a relaxing place that you will probably want to stay longer than planned. The menu is also quite extensive, and one big plus is the wide selection of Japanese-style pasta. This is the kind of place where even the time spent thinking, “What should I get today...,” is part of the fun, and you will definitely want to come back.

The interior has a unique atmosphere, like an old live music venue. In Aichi terms, it feels like Music Farm (a pretty specific comparison, but it will really land for those who know it). The coffee is dark and a little bitter, but easy to drink with no off notes.

The restaurant had gorgeous furniture, and the quiet interior gave off a luxurious feel. There were no other customers when I arrived, and I went in thinking that if there had been small children around I might not have been able to relax, but it was even more comfortable than I expected. The coffee also had a strong aroma of the beans, and it was rich and delicious!!

The interior features well worn furniture and an aged look. There are three refrigerators placed casually around the shop. A transistor radio plays so softly you can barely hear it. This is a kissaten (traditional Japanese coffee shop) full of nostalgia. When you order hot coffee, they reheat the drip coffee in a small saucepan before serving it. The deep Showa era feel is simply irresistible.

A nice coffee shop that opens early in the morning, and it was pretty busy and almost full. There are 3 kinds of Breakfast set menus, and this time I had Set B: scrambled eggs, toast, and an ultra-thin slice of banana (lol). I was able to take it easy from the morning. It was a great meal.

As expected, what I ordered again that day was the "Egg Sandwich" Breakfast. It came with hot coffee and a freshly made omelet, cooked after ordering and sandwiched between slices of bread. They ask whether you want the crusts on or off, so of course I kept the crusts on. The fluffy bread and glossy freshly cooked omelet were delicious. I love its gentle, comforting taste.
