The photo shows the Ogura Parfait. This Japanese-Western style parfait is topped with Ogura an (sweet red bean paste) full of rich flavor.
It has ice cream underneath, with plenty of fresh cream and fruit on top, making it a filling treat that sweet lovers will find hard to resist.

It was an incredibly retro kissaten (old-style Japanese coffee shop), retro to a Surprising degree, no, retro enough to feel almost spooky. It was also a perfect fit for the slightly faded streets of Kushiro (city in Hokkaido). Being in the basement adds even more of an underground feel. I don’t think there was any air conditioning inside. The background music was Japanese chanson. It really felt like the music lived up to the name of the place.

• Viennese coffee
It was served in about 5 minutes. The cream was not whipped stiff, but it was definitely a proper Viennese coffee. As it slowly melted while I drank it, it had a mellow richness that really sank into my body after all that walking.

I had the chocolate parfait! I love coffee shops with this kind of atmosphere✨It’s great that they stay open until late at night✨The parfait was reliably delicious as always, and even though it was close to closing time, they kindly told me to take my time eating, which made me happy^ - ^It was a wonderful chocolate parfait with an excellent balance of whipped cream and ice cream.

Outside the shop, the spicy aroma of curry drifts through the air and serves as a handy landmark.

The pasta is on the thin side and cooked al dente. It has a nice firmness. The seasoning is a very simple Naporitan with a light richness. The ingredients are the standard ones too: onion, green pepper, and sausage. But this is exactly how it should be, and exactly why it is so good♪

I ordered the seafood cream pasta. It came with fettuccine and was very delicious. It is a kissaten (Japanese-style cafe), but there are lots of food options, so it feels more like a yoshokuya (Western-style Japanese restaurant). The flavors are authentic, and the spacious interior has that classic kissaten feel, making it comfortable and relaxing.

・Chocolate Parfait
It’s a very photogenic parfait. lol. The whipped cream has a strong milky taste and is not too sweet. The ice cream is thick and rich. lol. What makes it different from chocolate parfaits at other places is that the chocolate sauce isn’t poured on top, but inside! lol. I haven’t seen that at other places!

With jazz playing, time passes at a slow and easy pace. This is the kind of place that makes you want to put away your phone and slowly read a book instead. It was a place I had been curious about for around 30 years.

I had a classic fruit parfait. I wondered, Is it really this big? but still finished the whole thing. The two flavors of ice cream and the plenty of fruit were both very tasty. It was very filling and felt like this is what a parfait should be. A little luxury.
