The signature takoyaki (octopus balls) are crisp on the outside and soft and creamy inside.
Packed with the umami of bonito stock and fresh octopus, they are said to be delicious even on their own. Another reason for their popularity is the wide lineup, including "Sonomama" to enjoy the flavor of the stock, "Negi Pon," and "beef tendon-yaki."

This is the “Zenbu Nose (everything on top),” topped with the classic sauce, katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes), and mayonnaise.
The savory sauce and the rich mayo go great together, making this a dish you just keep eating. You can order takoyaki (octopus balls) from 4 pieces, so it’s also fun to compare the flavors that catch your eye.
YUNJAE_LOVE_610
As expected, the takoyaki (octopus balls) had a nice dashi-rich batter and tasted great. I especially liked the Sonomanma and Zenbu Nose. The Tabamottsa was also tasty, with shrimp and cheese inside. Even though we went with a large group, we never had to wait long for the food, and I was happy to eat my fill of takoyaki.

The takoyaki (octopus balls) are so good! I like the Tabamozza. The snacks go well with drinks too! It’s great to eat them piping hot at the shop. It’s also great to get Takeout as a gift. The manager is friendly too. It’s a fun place!

"Osaka Ganso Takoyaki (Osaka Original Takoyaki)" is known as a dish with an excellent balance between the rich flavor of the sauce and the dashi-forward batter.
The outside is nicely browned, while the inside is soft and creamy. It also comes with large pieces of octopus, making it highly satisfying. You can choose from 3 sizes depending on your group: 6 pieces, 10 pieces, or 15 pieces.

The signature "Oodako Kushi (large octopus skewer) (deep-fried thick tofu skewer)" is a popular menu item served piping hot.
The sweet-savory sauce and aurora sauce coat the crisply fried atsuage (deep-fried thick tofu), and it is said to be more filling than it looks and very satisfying to eat.

I was happy because I had wanted to visit an izakaya that serves takoyaki (octopus balls). I tried a few things other than takoyaki too, and the Kara-age was incredibly good. And the takoyaki were super fluffy, with 2.3 pieces of octopus inside each one, and they were large and absolutely delicious. I want to eat this again...

ハイローヨ
The takoyaki (octopus balls) looked great, so I stopped in here for a quick drink. The takoyaki was on the larger side and soft, with that classic gooey texture. The sauce was not overly showy either, just a solid, tasty flavor. More than that, though, it was probably the fried ika geso (squid tentacles). The coating was nice and crispy, the geso had a good springy bite, and dipped generously in shichimi mayo, it made the highballs impossible to stop drinking.

Here, you eat simple takoyaki (octopus balls) with salt instead of sauce. It was my first time trying it this way, and it was the best. In addition to takoyaki (octopus balls), they also have a full lineup of a la carte dishes that go perfectly with drinks, such as chikuwa no isobeage (fried fish cake with seaweed batter) and hane-tsuki gyoza (pan-fried dumplings with crispy wings).
A top recommendation is the "tako butter shoyu." The fresh octopus sautéed in butter is plump and springy, and the savory aroma of soy sauce is said to really whet the appetite.

The takoyaki (octopus balls) was really delicious! The batter was nice and chewy, unlike any takoyaki I’d had before. (I ordered the mentaiko and the standard.) I also had the oyster butter rice. That was tasty too! I recommend this place because it has a great selection beyond just takoyaki.

They offer a wide variety of takoyaki (octopus balls), and since you can order from just 4 pieces, you can try lots of different kinds! I had the deluxe takoyaki topped with mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and the standard takoyaki. The katsuobushi (bonito flakes) and aonori (green laver) are kept at the table, and you add them yourself.

At Tako to Highball Tachikawa Minamiguchi Ekimae Ten, you can enjoy takoyaki (octopus balls) and highballs in a standing bar style.
The compact interior has a bright, lively feel, with red octopus lanterns and a pop style decor. Even first-time visitors can drop in with ease, so it is perfect for a quick drink or bar hopping.

The Most Popular menu item is the “2-Color Combo assortment (Kujo-negi (Kyoto green onion) Mayo, Fuwatama Cheese).”
The “Kujo-negi Mayo” is topped with plenty of Kujo-negi and mayonnaise. Both are soft and fluffy, and said to taste great.

The “Piri-Kara Tanuki” is a dish topped with agedama (tempura bits), giving it a nice crunchy texture.
Its moderate spicy kick goes well with the soft and creamy batter, and it is said to be so good that once you try it, you will be hooked. It is recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy takoyaki (octopus dumplings) with a new kind of texture.

I ordered this one because it was listed as the overwhelmingly Most Popular. The kujo-negi mayo (Kujo green onion with mayo) comes with crisp kujo-negi and lots of mayo. It is irresistible for mayo lovers. The fuwatama cheese has tasty cheese and soft fluffy egg. The pepper comes through nicely and adds a good accent.

・Kujo green onion salt 8 pieces
For green onion lovers, this is irresistible♡ And the amount of salt sauce they pour on is just right!! It's grilled to perfection too, with a gooey center and piping hot, so be careful not to burn yourself!!

Places to eat takoyaki (octopus balls) in Koganei, Tokyo
Janome Kitchen Jizai is an izakaya (Japanese pub) where you can enjoy a wide range of dishes, from Japanese style to Western style.
The stylish interior creates a casual and comfortable space. In addition to table seating where you can relax, there is also counter seating, so you can drop in with ease.

The takoyaki (octopus balls) is said to be Kansai style, with a soft and melty texture.
The seasoning options include sauce, dashi shoyu, salt sauce, and ponzu, and there are four size options ranging from 6 to 12 pieces. Many people also get it as a souvenir with Takeout.

The "A5 Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) roast beef" is made without focusing on a specific production region, using the best meat available that day and gently cooking it at low temperature for a moist finish.
The garlic sauce brings out the rich flavor that lean meat is known for. It also pairs well with red wine.

They also have a wide selection of drinks, and the beer goes down great while eating takoyaki (octopus balls)! You can also choose the sauce for the takoyaki, so you can enjoy different flavors. The pizza and pasta are tasty too, and it is a cozy, comfortable place!

From the otoshi (small appetizer), everything was just as good as I had hoped, including the potato salad and carpaccio. I had not been drinking for a while, but they kindly made my drinks lighter to suit me, and the manager and all the staff were very pleasant, which made for a really enjoyable time.

Tokyo [Fuchu City] Restaurants Where You Can Eat Takoyaki
Takoyaki to Horumon Sakaba Eeyan is in a great location, just a 3-minute walk from Higashi-Fuchu Station, and is known for its carefully made takoyaki (octopus balls) and tasty Teppan-yaki dishes.
The small interior has a homey atmosphere where even first-time visitors can easily strike up a lively conversation with the regulars.

The specialty takoyaki (octopus balls) are the real deal, made by someone who trained at a popular shop in Osaka. The thin outer layer, packed with dashi flavor, is crisp and fragrant, and the melt-in-your-mouth center is said to taste great even without sauce.
Among the paid toppings, Kujo negi (Kyoto green onions) are the most popular.

Osaka-style Pork and Cabbage Omelette is another menu item with many repeat fans.
Wrapped in a thin omelet that holds in the good flavor of the pork, this is a dish that goes well with both rice and alcohol. The moderate kick of beni shoga (pickled red ginger) and the crisp texture of Kujo negi (Kujo green onion) add nice accents, making it hard to stop eating.

This is Osaka-style takoyaki (octopus balls). The dashi (Japanese soup stock) really comes through, and the inside is melty and so good. It is so good that you will want to order the 18-piece serving again and again. They give you something like sauce, but I really recommend eating it without adding anything at all! It goes great with drinks!!

When I visited on a Saturday night, the place was full. Every dish was delicious! The cramped, local feel was nice too. The stewed beef tendon was meltingly tender and tasty! Even if you do not eat horumon (offal), this restaurant has plenty of other menu items, so you can still enjoy it fully.
