Grill Ippei Sannomiya Ten is a yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food) restaurant on the 1st floor of Sun Heights Sannomiya, a 2-minute walk from Sannomiya Station.
One nice point is that there is a waiting room on the 3rd floor, so you can wait comfortably even when it is crowded. The spacious and clean interior has table seating where you can relax.

The popular menu item Omurice uses a demi-glace sauce that has been passed down through four generations since the restaurant opened in 1952.
The balance of the thin omelet, red sauce, and demi-glace sauce is said to be just right.
Photograph:k-deca
"Spaghetti Italian" is also a popular menu item that has been served since the first owner.
It comes on an iron plate, and you eat it in an unusual style, mixing in raw egg, demi-glace sauce, and cheese as it cooks. They also recommend eating it with rice.

I had the Beef Tongue stew. It was delicious. Really. The thick cut Beef Tongue was so tender I could cut it with chopsticks, yet in the mouth it felt moist and pleasantly springy. Even the base part was not dry at all, and every bite had top class flavor and texture.

すのごはん
A long-established Kobe yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food) restaurant's demi-glace sauce Omurice. At a time when soft and runny Omurice is everywhere, this one has the old-school thin omelet wrapper, packed tight with rice inside! I couldn't help but admire how beautifully they cooked it, and it reminded me of the Omurice at my family home.

I visited right when it opened. There were already more than ten people in line, but luckily I got in with the first seating. I ordered the C Course (JPY1,500). It came with Hamburger Steak topped with a fried egg, a crab cream croquette, rice, and miso soup. You can get a Large size of rice for free. As expected from such a popular spot, the food was top level yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food).

The crispy fried shrimp, juicy Hamburger Steak, and Omurice were all delicious. The portions were generous, and it was reasonably priced. I was really completely satisfied.

The menu is extensive, with everything from Chinese style dishes like ramen to Japanese options such as udon and soba, and even Western style dishes like curry rice and chicken rice.
If one person orders two dishes, you get JPY200 off, so many people order like a set meal combination.

The popular menu item "Omu-katsu" is a hearty dish of Omurice topped with tonkatsu (pork cutlet).
The thick egg is soft and creamy with a satisfying bite, and it goes perfectly with the chicken rice filled with bite-size pieces of chicken. The tonkatsu is also thick and crispy, making it highly satisfying.
リエ★ログ★グルメ
The Omurice is a classic old-school Omurice with chunky pieces of chicken, and the chicken rice is great too! The wonton soup also has big chunky wontons in it and tastes amazing. This set is the one I recommend.

I ordered a small curry rice and gomoku soba (noodles with mixed toppings). The curry rice had a nice kick of black pepper and tasted spicy. I dropped the egg yolk from the gomoku soba into the curry rice and mellowed the flavor for a nice change.

The 10 kinds of “Otona Cheesecake” pair perfectly with coffee or wine. They are said to be just right for cafe time or dessert at night.
They are known for their rich taste, with the flavor of the cheese coming through clearly.
まりめろでぃ
Omurice is excellent on its own, with the egg softly set yet fluffy in the best way, and the slightly sweet ketchup rice is simply delicious! The hayashi rice has a tomato base, but it is rich and tasty, packed with the good flavor of beef and onions, and super delicious. The savory aroma of the cheese is also great, making this a classic Omurice. Love it♡

Set C includes Omurice or spaghetti + a drink + cake. I chose the porcini-scented hashed beef Omurice + Earl Grey + Naruto Kintoki (sweet potato) and yuzu baked cheesecake. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and both the food and cake were very delicious.

I love egg dishes, so I went for lunch to a restaurant that someone recommended to me as being really good! They also had Japanese food, but this time I unusually chose the Western-style Omurice! It was carefully prepared and tasted great, and the Hamburger Steak was also nice!

The Omurice, made with soft fresh eggs and paired with a unique original sauce, is especially popular. It uses butter rice to bring out the full flavor of the sauce.
They also offer a wide selection of salads, desserts, and drinks.
Photograph:ねこのこ全国ぐるめ
You can choose Omurice in three sizes: S, M, and L. The number of eggs also increases with the size, so the soft and fluffy texture stays the same.
The "Beef Stew Omurice" is popular for its nicely balanced combination of tender simmered beef and a sauce with an elegant sweetness.

Omurice wrapped in fluffy eggs and topped generously with Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu). It makes a big impression at first glance. It goes well with the rich demi-glace sauce. The Kuroge Wagyu has a clear sweetness in the fat and an outstanding tenderness. Each bite brings out more richness, and it pairs perfectly with the rice!

The popular yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food) menu item “SP Set” lets you enjoy several favorites all at once, and it apparently looks like a kid’s lunch for adults.
It comes with Hamburger Steak, here bifukatsu (beef fillet cutlet), cream croquette, and either fried shrimp or fried oysters, plus soup and rice. It is also said to be very filling.

The fluffy, tender Hamburger Steak came with plump, springy fried shrimp. The cutlet was crispy, and the pork cutlet in the Western-style lunch set even came with two pieces! The beef cutlet was also tender and tasty〜! It was a filling and Manzoku lunch. Good value too.

For the "premium Omurice," you can choose from house-made tomato sauce, beef stew sauce, or tongue stew sauce.
It comes in a style with light ketchup rice wrapped in a thick, fluffy egg. The sauce is rich, so the balance is just right.
azzur134
I went with their most popular item, the beef hirekatsu (breaded deep-fried beef tenderloin cutlet). The demi-glace sauce, which has been added to for 40 years, had great depth and was really good! The meat was tender too, and it was excellent. It’s also nice that you can get refills of rice and miso soup.

There are 5 variations of Omurice, and you can choose from 3 styles: the wrapped style, the split-open style, or the draped style.

There are six kinds of toppings you can add to your Omurice, including ebi-mayo (shrimp with mayonnaise sauce) and fried shrimp. You can also order it with no toppings or with everything on top.
The version with everything on top is very filling, and they say you can enjoy it to the last bite without getting tired of it by changing up the flavors as you go.

I chose the beef Omurice (the kind you split open). I waited with a free service coffee while listening to the sizzling sound of it being stir-fried. Was that butter? Meat? It smelled so good. Then out came a fluffy omelet set on top of red and white rice. Ah! Seeing it like this, I’m really glad I went with the split-open type.

Kobe Yoshoku Toricolor is a Kobe yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food) restaurant built around the concept of Taisho Roman (Taisho-era romance), offering a feel that is both nostalgic and new. The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Ikawa Center Building.
Inside, the modern space features Taisho-era doors and latticework, with nostalgic jazz playing in the background.
The menu lineup showcases the chef’s skill, from charcoal grilled Hamburger Steak to pork chops and beef cutlet, plus thin wrapped Omurice and fried shrimp at lunch.
Precisely because we live in an age overflowing with photos and videos, the menu uses illustrations instead.

It also comes with soup and salad, so it offers a high level of Manzoku.

The main katsu (cutlet) had a rich flavor in both the meat and the coating, and the meat had a nice bounce and tasted great. The yuzu miso (citron miso) served on the side was sweet and tasty too. The side salad included a wide variety of vegetables, and I enjoyed the different textures as well.
