When I went around early evening on a day off, I got in without any trouble. Since it was a late lunch, I chose the deli plate. I went with the scone. The scone was fluffy and slightly moist, and really good! You could also tell a lot of care went into the five deli items. The menu has the details written out, so it was fun to read while eating! It was just the right amount and filled me up nicely.

• Yakuzen douhua (medicinal herb douhua)
This douhua was like silken tofu, so it was different from the one I had in Taiwan. I guess there are different styles of douhua. It had two large red fruits in it, and they were soft, sweet, and delicious.

When I searched for cafes near my house, I had no idea there was actually a place like this so close by. There were also guests with suitcases since there is a hotel upstairs. I ended up staying quite a while, but the place had Semi-private room seating and tables on the veranda too, and it seemed like a place where small children could come as well.

・Today’s lunch
The open sandwich on dark bread, the sauerkraut, and the carrot rapees were all carefully made and delicious. Many people were ordering the soup lunch. I also bought a cardamom roll as a souvenir. It had a wonderful aroma and made me feel happy. They said they use whole cardamom pods and take out the seeds to make it. It takes a lot of time and effort.
