Green House is a cafe on the first floor of Hotel New Otani Hakata, located on the south side of the Tenjin area and also easy to reach from Hakata Station.
Inside, plenty of natural light pours in through the windows facing the plaza, creating a bright atmosphere. It is also said to be a refined space with paintings by the French artist Paul Guiramand on display.

Multiple reviews say the high ceilings create an open feel, and because the seats are spaced out comfortably, it is easy to have a conversation with the person you are with.
Because the cafe is open from morning to night, it seems like you can stop by at any time you like and take your time over tea.

Freshly made cakes and bread are said to be delicious. You can enjoy them either dining in or with Takeout.
The signature cake is a shortcake called the "Super Series." It is a beautiful cake with layers of sponge, cream, and fruit, and it tastes top class.
りこ♡レストランガイド
The ceiling is high, the space is roomy, and there are many sofa seats, with plenty of distance between tables, so it is easy to sit comfortably^_^The building is a little old, but the setting is nice, and you can relax and enjoy tea. The cakes are bigger than expected. The cream puff was delicious, with plenty of fresh cream(^^)

・Extra Super Melon Shortcake
Even though it is called shortcake, it hardly feels like shortcake anymore, and the taste was truly extra. The slightly coarse sponge cake with its mellow sweetness, the fresh cream so light it is almost a wonder it holds its shape, and the honey-like sweetness of the melon came together as one, and it felt absolutely heavenly.

Bills Fukuoka is a cafe in Suijo Koen (Riverside Park) in Nishi-Nakasu, on the east side of the Tenjin area. Suijo Koen has been loved as a place to relax for more than 100 years since it first opened.
This is the Fukuoka branch of the cafe that started in Sydney, Australia, and its terrace seats overlooking the park greenery are popular for their open, airy feel.
Photograph:kayab583
This place has a good reputation for being comfortable to use anytime, whether you are coming for a meal or want to relax during cafe time.
Many people also visit to try the signature "ricotta pancakes." They are lightly baked with a fluffy texture and a pleasantly chewy bite, making them perfect for brunch.
Photograph:norippi
The reservation-only afternoon tea is also popular. Their signature ricotta pancakes come in a mini size, and you can also enjoy scones, sweets, and soba-ko (buckwheat flour) pancakes.
Another plus is the free flow of Special teas and drinks such as matcha genmaicha (green tea with roasted brown rice) during the set time.
The pancakes were even more soft and chewy than I imagined, with butter and maple syrup gently melting together into pure comfort. Add some fruit on top and they look bright and beautiful, making you want to take a photo. Sitting in the light streaming through the window, sipping a latte and taking it slow felt like a little luxury, the kind of moment that makes you put your phone down and just zone out. It was such a comfortable cafe that before I knew it, I had stayed for hours.

I visited for breakfast. I ordered the pancakes and the full Aussie breakfast. As always, they were delicious. Among bills restaurants, this one has a particularly nice atmosphere. It gets great sunlight, has old books arranged around the space, and an interior that makes you feel like you are overseas. I would like to come again someday.

Rejoyce is a cafe on the first floor of Sakurajyuji Fukuoka Hospital, near Watanabe-dori Station on the south side of the Tenjin area. Its concept is a "lounge dining space where people come and go, connecting the hospital with the city."
The space is bright and natural, and it is said to be a place anyone can drop by casually.
Photograph:ねこもなか
This shop has a cozy space that does not feel like a hospital at all, and many people visit just for the café.
Sweets made with matcha and parfaits packed with seasonal fruit are also popular. They also have a good selection of mini sized sweets for when you want just a little.

The signature item is the "Low-Carb Hamburger Steak & Tonjiru (pork miso soup) Set." It features an authentic Hamburger Steak made with Australian grass-fed beef Strip loin.
It is gluten-free and low in carbs, made with soy milk and other ingredients. With plenty of vegetables, it is a filling meal set with good nutritional balance.

This cafe is located along Watanabe-dori, next to the entrance of Sakura Juji Byoin (Sakura Cross Hospital). It feels spacious and open, is not too crowded, and is very comfortable. It also has an extensive menu, making it convenient and easy on the wallet for a wide range of occasions. The lemonade was better than expected, and you can also enjoy changing up the flavor by adding honey.

Since it was a hospital, they had a lineup of healthy menu items with calorie counts worked out. Really appreciated that. Low-carb Hamburger Steak & tonjiru (pork miso soup) set → the rice was multigrain rice, which made me happy with every detail. It also comes with a drink. The Hamburger Steak came with a Japanese-style sauce and was easy to eat, and the sides had a nice bite to them, making the textures enjoyable.

It seems many people come here for breakfast or lunch. Some even travel to Fukuoka at night and start their day by eating breakfast here.
They offer a wide range of food menu items, including pasta, Hamburger Steak, and sets packed with vegetables, and all of them are said to be good.
Photograph:サンゼンリ
They also offer sweets such as pancakes made with seasonal fruit and cute cakes. You can also order a whole cake by reservation, so it is perfect for a surprise celebration.
It is a good pick even at night, whether for dinner or as a night cafe after drinks.

This easy-to-use cafe is open from morning to night. They have everything from meals and sweets to alcohol! This time, I visited for lunch. I ordered the steak Rice bowl set. It came with the main steak Rice bowl, three kinds of obanzai (Kyoto-style side dishes), a salad, and miso soup. The main steak Rice bowl had tender meat that went very well with the slightly sweet sauce, and it made the rice go down easy.

As the name suggests, the specialty here is menu items made with fresh fruit. The most popular of all are the parfaits, which use plenty of seasonal fruit.
The fruit available changes with the seasons, and they pair it with cream and other ingredients to bring out the fruit's flavor.
Photograph:kasumi_ike
They also offer lunch sets with yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food) dishes such as pasta and stew. Many people add a mini parfait and a drink, then enjoy a relaxed lunchtime.
On weekends, it gets crowded with people coming for the parfaits, so reservations are recommended.

This time, I chose the Shine Muscat parfait and the regular menu's Amaou parfait. They were both different kinds of parfait, and both were incredibly good, but personally, the Shine Muscat parfait was a real standout. It went from sweet cream to the lemon sorbet in the lower layer of the parfait. That change in flavor was especially nice.

The pancakes are topped with seasonal fruit and toppings to match the events of that time of year, so each visit offers a chance to enjoy a different flavor of pancakes.

It was my first visit. This was a place I had been very curious about for quite a while. I had cake and a drink. The staff were also very friendly, which was refreshing. I had a cute-looking cake and tea. It was really delicious. It had different layers with different textures, and the whipped cream was also delicious. It was a great meal.

In the afternoon cafe hours, you can relax and enjoy a stylish dessert and drink set.

The lunch plate is popular. One plate comes as an assortment with quiche, salad, and the soup of the day.
People say it looks colorful and tastes great, and it often gets busy at lunchtime. It is best to visit with extra time to spare.

Even in the Imaizumi area, which is packed with stylish restaurants, Soiru stands out with a particularly refined aura! The quiche has a crisp crust, and the inside is surprisingly light and rich. It is so good that you will want to come back just for this! Next time, I would love to visit for the bistro menu.

Genki Omusubi Hitomusubi is a cafe inside Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin Ten, near Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station. Located on the 2nd floor of the main building, it focuses on omusubi (Japanese rice balls) and Japanese sweets.
The interior has a warm and calm feel. You can casually enjoy a single omusubi or take your time over a meal.
Photograph:aya882472
Their signature omusubi (Japanese rice balls) are a traditional Japanese food made by cooking sweet brown rice from Kumamoto Prefecture, adding salt, and shaping it by hand.
One of the best things about them is the wide variety, with different fillings inside and the option of wrapping them in nori (seaweed). A popular choice is to pick the omusubi you want from several kinds and get them as a set with tonjiru (pork miso soup) and side dishes.

The "Seasonal Tea Sweets Set" is a set of small wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) and Japanese tea. You can choose the tea from sencha (green tea), Japanese black tea, hojicha (roasted green tea), matcha (powdered green tea), and more.
With sencha, you can also really taste the difference between the first pour and the second pour, making it an easy way to enjoy Japan's tea culture.

A place I had been curious about for so long!!! With the ichiju-sansai (set meal with one soup and three side dishes) set, I switched the soup to tonjiru (pork miso soup), and chose brown rice for the omusubi (rice ball)!! It was super healthy and delicious♬ I was so impressed because every small side dish was good. I also had dessert after the meal. Surprising, they even served a second steeping!

After having lunch with a friend at another restaurant, I had some errands at the department store, and we ended up going out for tea afterward. I had matcha (powdered green tea) and fresh wagashi (Japanese sweets), and then hojicha (roasted green tea) and arare (rice crackers) were served next. There was a window, and we were able to relax and chat while looking out over the streets of Tenjin.

They also have menu items with pudding and fruit beautifully arranged on a plate. If you make a reservation in advance, they will add a message to the plate, making it perfect for a surprise.
They also serve cocktails made with fruit, so it is recommended not only for daytime cafe visits but also for stopping by at night for cafe use.

So cute♡ It’s not just decorated with dried flowers and candles—everything is cute, from the items placed around the shop to the tableware and the whole atmosphere. The parfait is cute too♡ The pudding in the parfait isn’t a smooth, silky pudding, but a rich, dense pudding, and it’s delicious too. The parfait and black tea really lift your mood✨

I had the strawberry parfait. It had a big firm purin (custard pudding) inside, just the way I like it. It was quite filling and left me full. The strawberries were arranged beautifully on top, and the whole thing was finished with great care. It was the kind of parfait that makes you want to take a photo without thinking. The price is a little on the high side, so I think it is great as a treat-yourself parfait.

It was quiet when I went early in the morning, but as expected, it started getting busy around the 8 o’clock hour.
