Located about a 1-minute walk from Sakae Station, Wagyu Yakiniku Wonder Filet is a Yakiniku restaurant that has become popular for the high quality of its Wagyu, sourced from trusted producers and wholesalers chosen by the owner rather than focusing on beef grades.
The chic interior offers table seating, as well as counter seats and fully private rooms.

The restaurant uses only beef specially selected by the owner, who has 30 years of experience in the meat industry. They also carefully choose rice, salt, vegetables, and other ingredients that pair well with Yakiniku.
The house-made sauce has a light taste that brings out the beef's rich flavor and sweetness.

The popular Pair Course lets you enjoy a little bit of many different dishes. It can be ordered for groups of 2 to 8 people.
Many reviews say it is highly satisfying because it ends with a set of freshly cooked Clay Pot rice, beef curry roux, and beef chazuke (rice in broth).

・Pair Course
The meat, centered on Wagyu, was all high quality, and what stood out was the clean sweetness of the fat without feeling heavy. It stayed tender even without overcooking, and I could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Side dishes like daikon radish kimchi and eggplant kimchi were also seasoned just right, making them perfect palate cleansers between bites of meat.

The interior has a modern, calm atmosphere, and there are Private rooms, so you can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace. The Wagyu is beautifully marbled across the board, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The fillet in particular, a rare cut, is tender, and each bite brings out more flavor. The sauce is light, so we could really enjoy the meat's natural taste. The staff was kind

Wagyu Yakiniku Mankai is a Yakiniku restaurant about a 9-minute walk from Sakae Station. The interior has a Japanese modern design and also includes fully private rooms.

Without focusing on specific production regions or brands, they source only meat carefully selected by the veteran owner.
For the “tanmoto (base of the tongue),” they serve fresh tongue that has never been frozen. It is tender and juicy, and so good you will want to keep eating slice after slice.
Photograph:ともんが
The photo shows the popular menu item "Usugiri Rosu Yaki Shabu (lightly grilled thin sliced loin shabu)." You can choose from two kinds of sauce: oroshi ponzu (grated daikon ponzu sauce) and kimizu dare (egg yolk sauce).
They say the oroshi ponzu gives the meat fat a light, refreshing taste, while the kimizu dare lets you enjoy a richer, fuller meat flavor.
miumikumama
The tongue is tanmoto (base of the tongue)❗It’s super tender. It has none of the off notes you sometimes get with tongue at all‼️So good. For the thin sliced roast yakiniku shabu-shabu, you just sear the surface, and grated daikon ponzu goes so well with it~It melted away.... The Omakase assortment half portion, the Sirloin cap melts in your mouth too much~lol

The interior has a calm wa-modern (Japanese modern) atmosphere, with table seating and Private rooms where you can enjoy a relaxed meal. The Wagyu is all high quality, and the karubi (short rib) and roast in particular have an excellent balance of sweet fat and rich flavor, with a texture that melts in your mouth. The sauce is light and brings out the meat’s natural taste. The staff are polite, and they kindly explain the best grilling level and recommended cuts.

Yakiniku Horumon Koshin, about a 14-minute walk from Sakae Station, is a well-reviewed spot where you can enjoy carefully selected meats centered on Domestic Wagyu at reasonable prices.
Inside, the lighting is stylish and gives the place a luxurious feel.
Photograph:みうっちょ
There are plenty of assortment menu options that let you try a little of many different cuts. The meat is said to be tender, with just the right amount of marbling.
Reviews also say the “Kofukujo assortment” is a nice touch because it is served in a dish that brings Nagoyajo (Nagoya Castle) to mind.
Photograph:合掌仙人
The signature menu item, "tonchan," is grilled pork Horumon commonly eaten in the Nagoya region. You can choose between miso (fermented soybean paste) flavor and salt flavor.
It is seasoned on the rich side, making it perfect both as a snack with drinks and as something to eat with rice.
にょり
The tongue was thick-cut, yet incredibly tender with a nice bounce, and it was really delicious. The miso-seasoned Horumon and salt-seasoned Horumon were the best seasoned Horumon I’ve ever had. As you would expect from a Tabelog 100 place, everything we ordered was good.

Ago-tan shio (salted jaw tongue) was not as tough as expected, and instead had a nice, springy texture. It also had a good meaty aroma. The jo-karubi (premium short rib) had just the right marbling, making it rich without feeling too heavy. If you come to Nagoya, you should not miss tonchan (Nagoya-style pork Horumon). The plump Horumon was nicely coated in miso sauce and tasted great.

Many reviews said they were happy to be able to eat high quality meat here.
Marru
The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but the quality of the meat is great and the service is excellent. I tried a variety of dishes, and the "Atsugiri Jo Nama Tan (thick-cut premium fresh beef tongue)," "seseri (neck meat)," and "Outside skirt" were especially delicious♡ The white Omasum sashimi also had no off notes and tasted light. Considering how much we ate and drank, the price felt very reasonable.

The fresh tongue had springy tenderness and a satisfying bite, while the Outside skirt was also thick cut and juicy, grilled over charcoal to a fragrant finish that brought out its rich flavor. Rare cuts like the Knuckle main muscle and kuri (part of the shoulder) were sliced to a nice thickness, with fine textured meat and light marbling that kept them from feeling heavy, letting the good flavor of the lean meat stand out.

Since it has a Private room, you can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace✨The food is reliably good, and the No.1 item this time was the premium Outside skirt! It had a nice thick cut and was very satisfying to eat, but it wasn’t heavy, and the meat had a sweet flavor that was delicious! There are also lots of menu options, so you can enjoy many different cuts⭐︎

Among the special tongue, salted tongue, Wagyu kalbi, and Wagyu loin, the ones that stood out most were the special tongue and the special harami (skirt steak). To finish, we had the garlic fried rice and tantan cold noodles. The garlic fried rice came in a hot stone bowl, so it was nice and fragrant, and the crispy scorched rice was especially good. The tantan cold noodles went really well with the rich soup and tasted great.

My top pick was the "abura puri-puri gyu Horumon (fatty bouncy beef Horumon)"—it was so bouncy and tasted great.※My second pick was the Teppan-yaki "Hida gyu (Hida beef) 10-byo roast sukiyaki-fu (sukiyaki style 10-second roast)," which had a straightforward flavor and was delicious.※The Premium tongue root and the melt-in-your-mouth marbled Premium tongue also went perfectly with rice, no problem at all.※The "yawaraka akami Premium Loin (tender lean Premium Loin)" let me really enjoy the flavor of the lean meat, and this was another real winner.

The seating area also had a stylish atmosphere, and there were Private room options, so it was a space where you could relax!

I had the lunch Hana Course. It started with a salad, followed by Beef Tongue, kalbi (Korean-style short ribs), Outside skirt, and roast cuts, and all of the meat tasted great with rice. The final dessert was a rich homemade pudding. It was even richer and much tastier than the pudding at famous shops. The staff were also very friendly, and I had a great time.

The kalbi had a refined sweetness from the fat, and it was best with wasabi. The Horumon was Wagyu Heart and Premium Mountain chain tripe. They were carefully prepped with zero off notes. The crisp texture and the flavor that spread with every bite were irresistible. The sauce dishes were Special Wagyu filet, Outside skirt, and the house specialty, Special Wagyu Premium Loin (with truffle egg yolk sauce). This Premium Loin was outstanding!

I asked the restaurant to season the meat with Omakase★The tsurami (beef cheek) was served with salt, with chili pepper if you like. The highly recommended Shikou no Tan is a rare cut with just the right thickness. After a light grill, it filled the mouth with rich, toro-like (fatty tuna-like) tasty fat, and had a soft texture unlike regular tongue. My top favorite is the kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) kalbi (Korean-style short ribs). The meat is great, of course, but I really love the sweet and savory sauce that has stayed the same since the restaurant first opened in 1976. The genno shio kalbi (salt-seasoned short ribs) has a beautiful look with fine marbling, but it does not feel too heavy, so it tastes great with just salt. The sauce is nice, but the salted Yakiniku is delicious too.

To finish, the handmade reimen (cold noodles) comes with a clear broth and smooth, slippery noodles. The fresh touch of sudachi (Japanese citrus) makes it light enough to finish in one go even after Yakiniku.

The set comes with tender A5 beef and reimen (cold noodles) full of dashi flavor, and with free refills of rice, it is very filling. On weekdays, they also offer free self-service coffee, so you can enjoy a relaxed lunch. It is also nice that you can make reservations even during lunchtime. The staff were very attentive, and I had a very good lunch time.

Chojamachi Yakiniku Wanshin, about a 6-minute walk from Sakae Station and Marunouchi Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway, is a restaurant built around the concept of blending Japanese style with Yakiniku.
The interior has a modern Japanese design, and they say you can take your time and enjoy great Yakiniku in its refined atmosphere.

The restaurant sources its meat from Shibaura (one of Japan's largest markets), where they buy Special cuts. The melt-in-your-mouth fat and rich flavor of the meat are said to be excellent.
You can also choose rare cuts such as Chateaubriand and rib steak.

They also have a full lineup of a la carte dishes such as salads and kimchi. The "Ishiyaki Bibimbap" in the photo is said to be well seasoned and very satisfying.
Many reviews also said that the "Rinshin no Wagyu Curry," packed with the savory flavor of beef, is delicious.
I visited for dinner. In a refined Japanese modern space, I took my time enjoying high quality Yakiniku grilled over charcoal, including Special tongue, yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare), and Tenderloin steak. The negi-tan (beef tongue with green onion) and Rinpu Yukhoe in particular had a unique kind of great flavor, and both paired very well with Japanese sake and wine.

The interior has a high-end feel and a clean atmosphere. Everything I tried was delicious, but personally, the Mino sashimi was outstanding. I think very few places serve Mino sashimi. You eat it wrapped with salted kombu kelp. The meat is very fresh, and I think you can enjoy all kinds of cuts! The staff are wonderful too!

"Yakiniku All you can eat All you can drink Kawayoshi Sakaenishiki Honten" is a Yakiniku restaurant located a 10-minute walk from Sakae Station. In addition to Domestic beef, you can enjoy many kinds of Yakiniku, including pork, chicken, and lamb.
The interior is spacious and has an open feel. It also has Private rooms available for groups of 2 or more.

The restaurant uses a gas far infrared oven, which cooks meat more evenly and tenderly than charcoal grilling.
It can cook even thick cuts without losing their flavor, leaving them plump and juicy, so you may find yourself reaching for another bite.

The All you can eat Yakiniku menu is popular. Some courses also let you enjoy rare cuts.
Many reviews also said they were happy that the lunch menu comes with a drink bar and free rice refills.

Of course, I ordered the "Yakiniku lunch." The moment it arrived, I was impressed as always by the volume of meat lined up on the grill. The high quality loin and short rib came coated in a fragrant sauce and were cut to just the right thickness. One bite, and the rich flavor of the meat spread through my mouth, making the stress of everyday life melt away.

In addition to the regular menu, you can also get thick cut kalbi, kainomi (a lean cut near the short rib), zabuton (well marbled chuck flap), and more with All you can eat. The side menu is also extensive, so even if you think there is no regular bibimbap, you can still mix and match in lots of ways, like making your own kalbi bibimbap with rice, namul assortment, kimchi, gochujang, and grilled kalbi on top.

A 4-minute walk from Sakae Station, Sumibiyakiniku Isshobin Rashikku Ten on the 7th floor of "Lachic" is a Yakiniku restaurant chain with locations in the Nagoya area and Mie Prefecture.

What you can enjoy at this restaurant is Matsusaka-gyu (Matsusaka beef) from whole A5-grade cattle. It is said to have an irresistibly smooth texture and deep flavor.
Along with standard menu items such as kalbi and roast, they also serve the highly prized Matsusaka-gyu Horumon.

The lunch set menus, which come with rice, miso soup, grilled vegetables, and more, are popular. The rich miso sauce pairs perfectly with the meat and has an addictive taste.
There were also reviews saying the limited menu items, the Matsusaka-niku (Matsusaka beef) Steak Rice bowl and the Sumibiyaki Karubi Rice bowl, are very filling.

The lunch I ordered was a set with kalbi (short rib), loin, tongue, and bibimbap. As I carefully grilled each slice and brought it to my mouth, sweet and tasty juices spread across my palate. Taking my time to grill the meat and enjoy it made for a very relaxed and pleasant lunch time.

・Matsusaka-gyu (Matsusaka beef) Premium Loin
The moment you bite into it, sweet fat overflows into your mouth, and the quality is satisfying enough with just one slice. Even though it is loin, it has quite a bit of fat, yet still feels meaty, striking an exquisite balance that leaves nothing to complain about.

Yakiniku Fuku Nishikidori Ten is a Yakiniku restaurant with fully private rooms at every table, located a 4-minute walk from Sakae Station. The interior uses chic tones and has a stylish, grown-up feel.
They offer an All you can drink menu on limited days of the week, so it is a good pick for people who enjoy alcohol.

The restaurant mainly serves A5-ranked Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) from Kyushu. The meat is not pre-seasoned with sauce, so you can enjoy it with your favorite seasoning, such as the house-blended salt or soy sauce-based tare.
Many reviews say it is nice to be able to enjoy high-quality Yakiniku at a relaxed pace in a Private room.

The side menu lineup is also extensive, with soup, salad, rice dishes, and more. The reimen (cold noodles) is said to have smooth, easy-slurping noodles that go well with the light, clean-tasting soup.
It seems many people also order the course menu that brings together the restaurant's popular dishes as a set.

For the Yakiniku, I ordered my favorite cuts like Top sirloin and Sirloin cap, and every one of them was very good. It was not a fully private room, but there were partitions so I could eat without worrying about the people around me.

I enjoyed the thick cut tongue, Wagyu fuku-karubi (short plate), and Horumon miso. Everything tasted very good, just what you would expect from A5-ranked Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef). The staff were polite, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere inside was calm, making it a space where you can relax and take your time.

If you want to really dig into meat, the “Hamidetai Outside skirt” and the limited-quantity “Specialty! Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) no Hamideru Karubi” are also recommended.
The meat is so large it looks like it might hang off the Teppan-yaki plate, giving it a very impressive look.

• Overhanging Outside skirt
It spreads across the whole Teppan-yaki and looks great too. As the surface cooks, fat rises to the top and looks super tasty. They cut it into bite size pieces before serving it. Even though it is thick, it is very tender, and the rich flavor of the juices that seep out really hits the spot.

Even to an untrained eye, the prep work was clearly very careful, and the taste was deeply Manzoku. On top of that, the staff were energetic, and they served everything at the best level of doneness, which was wonderful. Finally, the course meal had a wide variety of dishes and even included All you can drink, so it felt like an amazing value.

At this restaurant, popular Yakiniku favorites like kalbi and Outside skirt are especially popular. Their signature menu item, "Anan Kalbi," is said to have rich umami and outstanding flavor.
They also offer options like the "Anan 3-assortment," which lets you try small portions of popular items, and the "Horumon Mix."

I had a lunch that was great value for money. I liked that they use a shichirin (small charcoal grill). The set meal comes with salted sauce cabbage, bean sprout namul, wakame seaweed soup, and white rice. For the Yakiniku sauce, you can enjoy three kinds: sweet and spicy soy sauce, mildly spicy miso, and lemon. I kept changing up the flavor with gochujang too, and before I knew it, I had only one bite of rice left. I ordered more.

Off-shore
At An An, all drinks are All you can drink for JPY1,300 (JPY1,430 Tax Included), which is something I really appreciate these days. I started with a draft beer and ordered the Beef Tongue and Nakaochi kalbi. I usually add ponzu sauce when I eat grilled meat, but at this restaurant, the standard style is to enjoy the meat with miso tare (miso-based dipping sauce), a flavor you can only taste in Nagoya.
