Le Pain Quotidien Tokyo Midtown Ten

"Le Pain Quotidien Tokyo Midtown Ten" is a bakery cafe from Belgium located on the 1st floor of the West Plaza at "Tokyo Midtown." The natural style interior is filled with the warmth of wood and has a large communal table.

Whether you visit alone or in a group, the space is said to feel comfortable and relaxed.

The menu of house-made bread made with organic wheat is popular. The "Brunch Set" comes with bread and fillings served on one plate, and you can enjoy it in whatever style you like.

It looks like you can have fun customizing it by spreading jam or butter on the bread or making sandwiches with ham and cheese.

They offer assorted varieties available of tartine (Belgian-style open-faced sandwiches).

The "Avocado Toast" is said to be spread edge to edge with avocado paste, giving it a rich taste. The creamy avocado is a great match for the toasty flavor of the bread.

Termine

They are particular about their coffee too☕️They use organic coffee beans, and you can switch the milk to soy milk, almond milk, or oat milk. I also ordered an iced cafe latte made with oat milk! The weather was nice too, so I enjoyed a relaxed lunch on the terrace☺️Open from 7:30 a.m. It is also a great place for Breakfast or a cafe visit.

512 CAFE & GRILL is a cafe built around the concept of an "urban oasis." Located next to Midtown Garden, it is also known for its comfortable space where you can feel close to nature, surrounded by lush trees.

On days with nice weather, the terrace seats are especially popular. People say it feels hard to believe you are in Roppongi, with a resort-like atmosphere you can fully enjoy.

The "brulee furupuru pancake" is said to overflow with custard the moment you cut into it. You can enjoy the classic matcha flavor and seasonal fruit flavors.

The inside has an extra smooth, rich texture that gently melts in your mouth. It is said to be not too sweet, with a full richness from the eggs.

The "Zakuzaku French Toast" is topped with croutons and almonds, making it a fun dish with a nice crunchy texture.

I had the lunch course, and in a word, it was "perfect." The meal let me enjoy a wide variety of dishes in small portions, and each one had delicate seasoning that pleased both the eyes and the palate. The atmosphere inside was very calm and stylish, and the staff were polite and attentive, so I had a comfortable time from start to finish.

The stylish interior has a European feel, and the seating is spaciously arranged. You can enjoy a menu centered on house-made sweets.

They say you can enjoy a relaxed cafe time here with sweets and specialty coffee.

This is the “an butter croffle.” It is a new-texture sweet that combines a croissant and a waffle. The rich butter and the salty anko (sweet red bean paste) are said to go perfectly together.

The most popular sweet is "Jaimu Tiramisu." This creative cake is wrapped in gyuhi (soft mochi-like rice cake dough), the chewy dough used in wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets).

It is made with mascarpone and fresh cream from Hokkaido milk, and is said to have an excellent creamy, rich taste.

I ordered the strawberry croffle and strawberry tiramisu, both available only for Christmas. Both were simply good, with the sweet-tart strawberries going well with the pastry. More than anything, the interior, exterior, and food all had a cute Christmas mood, and the fact that it was not crowded and I could relax really stood out.

AZABUDAI HILLS CAFÉ is a cafe located inside Azabudai Hills, a commercial complex about a 7-minute walk from Roppongi Station. It stays open throughout the day, so you can use it for all kinds of occasions, from Breakfast to the bar.

The stylish interior is decorated with artwork. There are also counter seats with power outlets, making it perfect for a short break.

The popular Breakfast item is the "French Toast Coconut Oil." It is finished in a healthy way with coconut oil, and is said to be great for its soft texture and light toasty aroma.

This set is said to be mildly sweet and not heavy, so you can finish it with ease. It is also nice that it comes with a drink.

One of the draws is said to be the wide drink menu. The tea selection includes Special options such as organic teas and Japanese black tea, and they also have a good range of smoothies and wine.

The "caffè latte" has beautifully frothed milk and even comes with latte art that makes the most of the foam. You can order it as part of a set or A la carte.

Macky.s

The wood grain tables and chairs create a calm atmosphere. I ordered koboku-cha (aged tea), which I was trying for the first time. It has a mild sweetness and is easy to drink. The round pillar-like seats in the middle of the shop also have power outlets, and I spotted a few people working on their laptops. It also has a nice atmosphere that makes it easy to drop in even when you're on your own.

The first floor has a lavish interior with sofa seating, while the second floor is set up mainly with Private rooms for parties. During cafe hours, it has a relaxed atmosphere where you can take your time.

Afternoon tea lets you enjoy a colorful spread of sweets. One nice point is that drinks, including alcohol, come with free refills.

The selection of sweets changes with the season. They say you can enjoy many kinds in small portions, including mini cakes, canelés, and macarons that match the theme.

With Appetizers and pasta included, plus the option to add a meat main, you can enjoy it for either lunch or dinner. The food was delicious, but I was especially surprised by the high quality of the dessert plate too! I especially liked the matcha nama-choco (fresh chocolate) and the financier.

It is said to be thick and fluffy inside, and the menu offers a range of toppings such as caramel and berries.

The “koi matcha purin (rich matcha pudding)” comes topped with plenty of matcha sauce, giving it a striking look. The purin has a firm, satisfying texture, and the rich flavor of the egg really stands out. The slight bitterness of the matcha adds to it, and they go perfectly together.

Chasai Ito

Chasai Ito is a Japanese-style cafe about a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Station, where you can enjoy Japanese sweets and tea. It is a spot where you can experience Japan’s unique matcha culture.

The interior is clean yet modern. It gets lively at lunchtime, but the cafe hours are said to be a relaxing time to unwind.

You can enjoy a drink menu made with high quality matcha from Kyoto Prefecture. The biggest feature is that you can whisk the matcha yourself.

The staff will show you the basic way to whisk it, so even beginners can make a good cup of matcha. There were also reviews saying that the moment the aroma gently spreads is the best part.

They also have a full selection of wagashi (Japanese sweets) that go well with tea. This is the “Kingyo Warabi Mochi,” inspired by the image of goldfish swimming.

Warabi mochi is a Japanese sweet known for its soft and chewy texture. You can enjoy it with kuromitsu (brown sugar syrup) made from brown sugar and sweet kinako (roasted soybean flour).

The matcha (powdered green tea) shipped directly from Uji in Kyoto has a wonderful aroma and deep flavor, and whisking it yourself makes it taste even better! The staff kindly explain everything, so even if you have never whisked matcha before, I think you will be able to do it well(^ ^)I never expected to have an experience like this in Roppongi!

• Kingyo warabi-mochi (bracken starch dumpling)
Wow..., sweet! You can really tell that the warabi-mochi itself is sweet. The kuromitsu (brown sugar syrup) coating has a rich sweetness that's different from the warabi-mochi. This is so good...

A decanter of mango drink and dragon fruit shisha with a fruity sweetness. The rich mango comes in a generous decanter, and it pairs perfectly with the shisha! The dragon fruit shisha has a clean draw but still plenty of sweetness, making it an irresistible flavor for fruit lovers.
