The "Gokujo Atsugiri Beef Tongue Yaki (premium thick-cut grilled Beef Tongue)" in the photo is the restaurant's signature dish. Even though the Beef Tongue is cut thick, it is very tender, and with each bite, the meat juices are said to burst out.
Another nice point is that you can keep a bottle by the isshobin (1.8-liter bottle).

The limited-quantity "Premium gyutan (beef tongue) aburi" is also popular. The beautifully arranged meat and green onions make for a very impressive look.
Some reviews also said that on days with nice weather, enjoying a drink on the terrace seats is a great option.

The exterior looked stylish, and everything on the menu was delicious. As expected, the Beef Tongue was tender and the best item. I was so happy to be surrounded by Beef Tongue dishes, from Beef Tongue skewers to Beef Tongue stew. I want to go again.

This time, we went with the premium course. They also have a wide selection of wines by the glass, so I enjoyed making my own pairings. The course had quite a lot of volume, and the finishing curry left me Manpuku. The simple wood-based interior felt very comfortable.

Since the place is nicely compact, I recommend going with 1 or 2 people. For food, the landlady’s recommended Quick Drink set is a great choice. It lets you try all kinds of items, from the usual sashimi (raw fish) with olive sauce to spicy fried chicken drumettes, oeuf mayo, and salsiccia. I recommend it.

The very first dish, "Yakitoriya no Terrine," was a shock in the best way. It was just too good. The different cuts of chicken were layered in distinct sections, and that really won me over. Then in the middle of the meal came, "We will now begin the yakitori (grilled chicken skewers)"!!!The presentation, the whole vibe, everything was stylish and refined. I was blown away by the deeply Japanese atmosphere and the way the yakitori came out like a French course meal. I definitely want to go again.

Hashidaya Nakameguro Ten is an izakaya centered on chicken dishes, located along the Meguro River, a 4-minute walk from Nakameguro Station on (Each) line.
The interior has a calm, traditional Japanese atmosphere, and the location is said to be excellent, with views of the cherry trees lining the Meguro River from the second-floor windows.
The popular menu item “shirodaki (white chicken paitan hotpot)” is a Hakata-style mizutaki (chicken hotpot) made by simmering carefully prepared chicken bones for over 8 hours.
The rich, full-bodied soup has a comforting taste that warms both body and soul. You can order it from 2 servings.

Many reviews say the oyako-don (chicken and egg Rice bowl) with rich dashi is excellent.
This chicken specialty restaurant along the Meguro River has a nice nostalgic atmosphere. We ordered chicken thigh skewers, Chicken sashimi (served raw), and tori paitan nabe (rich chicken broth Hot Pot). The tori paitan nabe had a rich broth and was filled with cabbage, green onions, chicken, chicken meatballs, and fried tofu, and it was very good. We finished with mentaiko (spicy cod roe) zosui (rice porridge) and enjoyed every last drop of the soup.

The 3 kinds of Chicken sashimi (served raw) each had different flavors and textures, which made them fun to enjoy. The tori-nabe (chicken Hot Pot) started with a rich soup, and it came with plenty of ingredients too. The champon to finish the meal filled both my stomach and my mind. The atmosphere of the second-floor zashiki (tatami seating area) was also very pleasant, and the food, conversation, and time all flowed comfortably. It was packed even before the Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival), and I’d definitely like to come back again!

The restaurant was pleasantly busy, and the atmosphere felt nice too. We ordered sashimi, robatayaki (fireside grilling), and fried dishes, and everything was delicious. You really can’t go wrong with anything here! The spicy fried small shrimp and the Yukke-ko Rice bowl were especially good! There were also lots of dishes that looked great but we didn’t get to try, so I’d love to come back again.

・Simple Course
Everything was tasty with no off notes, but the sashimi was the best of all. The All you can drink selection also had a good range of sours, so it was more than enough. There are about 6 table seats in total, along with counter seating, and the interior is simple but stylish.

The signature menu item, "toriyaki (grilled chicken)," comes in three varieties: a 5-cut assortment, 7-cut assortment, and 9-cut assortment. You can compare and enjoy a range of different chicken cuts.
Popular choices also include the "Special meigara momo 3-shu tabe-kurabe (three-brand thigh tasting)," where you can try carefully selected branded chicken, and the rare cut "furisode (shoulder meat)."

Another signature item here, alongside the grilled chicken, is Togakushi soba (buckwheat noodles from Togakushi). The noodles have a rich taste and are boiled on the firm side, which makes them go down very smoothly.
Many reviews also said the combination of chicken, soba, and drinks is excellent.

The staff carefully explained each dish one by one, and the style lets you grill and enjoy everything at your own pace. The timing of each dish was spot on too. Every cut was so juicy that it hardly felt like chicken, and I was especially happy to get to try the rare cut soriresu (oyster cut)! The set also came with salad, grilled vegetables, agedashi tofu, and Togakushi soba (buckwheat noodles from Togakushi), so it felt very complete.

I was able to enjoy (Each) cut in a luxurious way. Everything was delicious, but I especially liked furisode (part of the shoulder) and Awaodori (Awa chicken)!! The soba at the end also had a rich flavor and was very good! The pace of the food service was just right, and I was happy that the drinks came quickly!

"Kushimusubi Haku Nakameguro" is an izakaya just a 1-minute walk from Nakameguro Station on all lines, with kushiage (deep-fried skewers) as its main specialty. Inside, the retro interior creates a cozy, homey feel.
Since it is close to the station, it is also perfect when you want a Quick Drink.

The signature menu item, kushiage (deep-fried skewers), comes in an impressive lineup of more than 35 kinds. You can enjoy a wide variety, including meat, seafood, vegetables, and creative options.
Another nice touch is that each person gets their own special sauce, and you can also try different seasonings such as matcha salt and rock salt.
Photograph:mi__99
They also offer a wide selection of drinks, including wine, shochu (Japanese distilled spirit), and sours.
The photo shows the non-alcoholic cocktails “Kobito no Ichigo Milk” and “Yuzu Sorbet.” Their colors are beautiful, and they are popular because they look great too.

One especially nice thing is that each person gets their own sauce. You can dip your food a second or third time as much as you like, so you can enjoy it at your own pace. The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) is juicy and fragrant, and like the kushiage (deep fried skewers), it offers a high level of Manzoku. The top drink pick is the "Goro-tto Mikan Drink." As you let the frozen mikan (mandarin oranges) thaw while drinking it, the sweetness gradually comes out more, so it stays tasty all the way to the last sip.

You order the skewers by writing them on the paper at the table. The menu ranges from standard items like shrimp and pork to unusual and more indulgent options such as smoked oysters, Raijin gyoza, and ichigo daifuku (strawberry-filled rice cake). More than anything, the kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) here stand out for their thin batter and smaller pieces, which make them light and easy to keep eating. It is nice that they go so well with alcohol too.

The yakitori served at this restaurant is made with fresh asabiki (morning-processed) chicken. They carefully grill it slowly over binchotan (Japanese white charcoal).
It is seasoned with a secret tare sauce made from 10 ingredients and aged for 1 month, giving it a very deep flavor.

They offer a wide selection of course menus that let you enjoy a variety of dishes. If you like alcohol, a course with All you can drink is recommended.
Many reviews said the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and that the overall value for money is very high.
ごまごま1004
The interior has a calm atmosphere, feels comfortable, and makes it easy to stop by even on your own. There is a wide variety of yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), and each one lets you really taste the quality of the ingredients. The house-made tare (sauce) is especially great, and once you try it, it becomes addictive. There is also a full lineup of side dishes that pair well with drinks, and the filling oden (Japanese hot pot dishes) and Kara-age are must-orders.

The thigh meat is juicy and plump in texture. The more you chew, the more its savory flavor fills your mouth. The Heart has a pleasantly crunchy bite, and tastes fresh.

The "Saisai-dori (colorful-feed chicken) momo-yaki (grilled thigh)" in the photo is one of the restaurant's popular menu items. They marinate Iwate Prefecture's "Saisai-dori" in a secret sauce overnight.
The fresh heat of yuzu kosho (yuzu pepper paste) is said to pair perfectly with the juicy chicken.

The popular yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) menu includes standard items like thigh and skin, along with daily rare cuts you can also choose from.
If you want to try a variety, the "Yakitori 5-Shu Mori" is recommended, letting you enjoy yakitori with both salt and tare sauce.

It’s a hidden gem, partly because it’s a little way from the station! The service is polite, and the food is cheap and tasty! The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and torimotsu (chicken offal) are both great, and I recommend everything! Personally, I liked the shrimp spring rolls〜! The chilled noodles at the end are also delicious✨

My personal recommendations are the spicy yodare-dori (steamed chicken with spicy sauce) and the chicken giblets Teppan-yaki. The spicy yodare-dori was a real treat for me since I love spicy food. It comes with a seriously spicy sauce that goes perfectly with the tender steamed chicken. The chicken giblets Teppan-yaki was so good, with rich egg yolk coating the chicken giblets and crisp bean sprouts, that I couldn’t stop eating….
