Yakiniku Kitan Hozenji

This Yakiniku restaurant is a 5-minute walk from Namba Station on the Osaka Metro lines, set in a renovated Japanese restaurant with 120 years of history.

All rooms are fully private room spaces, and it can accommodate groups from small to large. Guests say the relaxed space with a Japanese feel is part of its appeal.

The concept of this restaurant is to let guests enjoy meat from many different Kaku. It offers a wide range of Yakiniku menu items, including aged meat and aged tongue.

They use Special beef centered on Matsusaka-gyu (Matsusaka beef) and Miyazaki-ken-san Kirishima-gyu (Kirishima beef from Miyazaki Prefecture), so you can fully enjoy the meat’s natural flavor.

The course menu where you can enjoy sukiyaki (Japanese beef Hot Pot), one of Japan's popular hot pot dishes, is also well received. The large slices of meat arranged in the sukiyaki Hot Pot make a strong impression.

Sukiyaki is said to be deeply Manzoku, with great flavor you can enjoy with all five senses, from its look and aroma to everything else.

ツナチキン

A popular Yakiniku restaurant in Hozenji that draws huge lines at lunch. Since we had a reservation, we got in without any trouble. As we were shown to our seats, I found the atmosphere inside calm and stylish! I really loved the vibe. The room was also spacious, and the Sunken kotatsu seating made it easy to relax.

Kitashinchi Harami Hozenji Ten

This is a Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) Outside skirt specialty restaurant located in Namba’s Hozenji Yokocho (Hozenji Alley).

It is said to be a hidden spot for adults where you can enjoy top grade Outside skirt Yakiniku along with Special wines. The upscale interior, designed by a popular restaurant designer, is one of its main draws.

They source the rare Outside skirt, of which only a small amount can be taken from one head of Domestic Wagyu, through their own special route.

The restaurant is well regarded for serving Yakiniku cooked to the best doneness by skilled hands, along with healthy creative dishes centered on Outside skirt.

The signature "harami steak (skirt steak)" is also carefully grilled right in front of you by the staff. It’s a dish you’ll definitely want to order on your first visit.

This flavor-packed steak is said to pair perfectly with the dipping sauce made with egg and caviar.

Yakiniku Yacchan Namba

This Yakiniku restaurant is in a great location, just a 1-minute walk from Osaka-Namba Station on the Kintetsu Namba Line. It is said to be a popular spot where tourists and local regulars mingle.

The restaurant is also well known for its friendly service, very much in the Osaka style, and has a warm atmosphere that makes even first-time customers feel at ease. There is counter seating only.

They cut fresh, high quality meat right in front of you after you order, which is one of the restaurant's standout features. In addition to the a la carte menu, they also offer recommended course menus.

The meat is cut extra thick and served in hearty portions, with a crispy surface and a light, tender texture inside.

Among the many Yakiniku menu items, the restaurant especially recommends the thick cut tongue and tender Outside skirt.

The Outside skirt goes perfectly with the clean taste of wasabi shoyu (soy sauce), which really brings out the sweetness of the meat.

ちちき

The jo-tan shio (premium salted beef tongue) and Outside skirt are especially worth mentioning. The owner's older brother also has a wonderfully friendly charm. Is this kind of casual communication something unique to Osaka? Including how close and easygoing the atmosphere feels with the staff and other customers, this Osaka Yakiniku restaurant ranks among the very best Yakiniku places I’ve visited for taste.

Source:ちちき's review

Red meats like tongue and Outside skirt come in very filling portions. The thick cut tongue starts to release its juices onto the grill the moment it is placed on the grate, and the more you chew, the more flavor comes through. The Outside skirt pairs the bold taste you expect from red meat with a nice sweetness from the fat, making it highly satisfying.

Both the meat and the side dishes were high quality, and I was very Manzoku. It is also very close to Namba Station, so the access is convenient, and I will visit again.

A Yakiniku restaurant by Watami. I had known about it for a while, but this was my first visit. It is about a 1-minute walk from Nankai Namba Station. The restaurant is located inside the shopping street. Late at night, most of the other places around it close, so I think this restaurant, which stays open until around 24:00, is a valuable option.

Yakiniku Goen Nishishinsaibashi Ten

This Yakiniku restaurant was born in Osaka and now has restaurants across Japan. It is popular for letting you enjoy high quality Yakiniku in a casual atmosphere.

The tables use built in smokeless roasters, so it is also recommended for people who do not want to worry about Yakiniku smoke.

Yakiniku comes in many varieties, and they are said to be especially particular about their signature abara (rib meat).

Abara, which sits between the bones, is said to be packed with the good taste of the meat. It also seems to go perfectly with their secret sauce.

There are three very popular All you can eat courses in total. It’s nice that you can choose based on the menu selection and your budget. The photo shows one item from the "Deluxe" course.

The most luxurious "Kiwami Premium" course is popular because you can enjoy high grade Wagyu cuts such as kuroge Wagyu karubi (Japanese Black Wagyu short rib) and large cut Spencer roll, all as All you can eat.

I went with the standard All you can eat option. The price was reasonable, and there was a wide variety of meats. The kalbi (short rib) and roast in particular were juicy and delicious. There was also a good selection of side dishes and drinks, so I left very satisfied. The restaurant felt clean, and the staff were polite, which left a good impression. It is a great place to have a fun meal with friends or family.
