Yokokawa's Thin Udon Finally Opens on Hondori Street! Enjoy the firm texture and smooth mouthfeel.
Yokokawa's thin udon has finally opened its second location on Hondori Street! Udon is said to have originated in Hakata (now Fukuoka). It is believed that the technique for making udon was brought ba...ck to Fukuoka by Shōichi Kokushi from the Jōten-ji Temple during the Song Dynasty in China.
Inspired by Buzenn udon, the owner has experimented with the recipe thousands of times to create this proud noodle.
Be sure to try our signature thin noodles, known for their firm texture and refreshing, smooth mouthfeel!
